2 Fellas & A Big Vehicle Moving Company

EDIT: 2 Fellas is being dishonest with their response. Tristyn no-showed the day after the move when he was supposed to come assess the damages and complete the job. He didn't reach out to us until multiple days later after we attempted to contact him several times. On Friday June 12, he scheduled us for the next day and then cancelled. I politely explained my dissasifaction with the situation and he assured us he would reschedule us by the end of the weekend.

The actual day of moving was pretty good. The guys were quick, nice, and did a good enough job. My one star comes from them quoting us a price after coming out to our house of $3600. That included two day storage between closings. After unloading all of stuff at the new house they hit us with a price was almost double the original quote. We then called and emailed them to figure out where this large discrepancy came from.

I hired 2 Fellas or I should say Allied Van Lines outsourced my business to them. It was not a good experience. Thought everything was set until day of move when I was blasted by the woman in charge because I hadn’t packed up every item in my house myself. I told her I would pack as much as I could but couldn’t do it alone. Heidi called and literally yelled at me for not having everything packed and tried to shame me for having to come and help. Said she had a concussion and had to get out of bed to come help.

Do not use this company to move your stuff! They damaged a $1700 dresser and then argued the corner was damaged before when it was not. They also bent the metal frame topper of my daughters canopy bed. They stole my checkbook out of my dresser and my vape pen! They scratched my washer and dryer set that has had a yoga mat to protect it on it since I bought it. They offered a check for $200. Terrible people running a business. And nothing was their responsibility.

Would not recommend using this company unless you are prepared to have your furniture and items damaged. Here is the list of items damaged during the move. Leather sectional (leather torn), leather loveseat (leather torned wood feet damaged), brass broken off a role top desk, corner crushed on a Lexington armoire, knob broken off dryer, knob broken off grill and last but not least, when they were moving in the furniture, they crushed my laptop.

I booked this company based on the reviews I read online being mostly really great. Unfortunately though, we did not have a good experience. We were quoted 5-7 hours of work with 2 movers for a 4 bedroom home (which was not fully furnished). I requested a 3rd mover (which costs more per hour), to help get the move done quicker.

The people in the office will catch you in anything they want. I used two men and a truck for a recent move and after speaking with the lady over the phone. I was ready for my move. I had told her that it was a short distance move with multiple rooms ranging from furniture to kids rooms with “toys”. She asked me if I had boxes in which I replied I didn’t. She then told me that nothing could go on the truck if it wasn’t boxed.

While the initial phase of our move appeared to go smoothly, the post-move customer service has been completely unacceptable. The crew packed and transported my 85-inch TV, which ended up being severely damaged in the process. While accidents happen, it's a company's response to those accidents that matters. It has now been two months, and the company has essentially ghosted me. They refuse to return calls or provide any concrete updates on a resolution.
