On Call Moving & Storage

Giving two stars because MOST of my stuff made it from okc to Odessa. Thursday was scheduled for packers to come and pack the entire house. Friday the loaders would come and load the truck and drive to Odessa. Saturday truck would be unloaded. Thursday started off fine. The guys showed up and packed for a few hours. I would say the house was 70% done. They had the master bedroom, master bath, laundry room, kids bathroom, garage, and a few things in the other bedrooms left.

I hired this moving company for a June 30th move into my new home, after they were recommended by colleagues. Communication was great for scheduling and payment. Day of move was okay. One of the guys was really a hard worker and professional. One other was good, the other was just an extra body. None of that was the issue. There was a piece of furniture that I had just purchased a few months before that I was told to be careful with while moving. I explained this to the guys to ensure they took extra care.

I recently hired this company for my move and had a mixed experience. On a positive note, the moving crew was professional, courteous, and efficient. They handled the majority of the work with care and maintained a good attitude throughout the process. However, there were some concerns that affected my overall satisfaction. The final cost was higher than the initial price I was quoted, which was disappointing. In addition, one of my televisions was scratched during the move.

These movers are horrible, they damaged over 25k worth of items and will not contact me back. They came over and took pictures and have repeatedly told me that they were speaking with their insurance. We told them we wanted to figure this out before the last payment was remitted and now they are trying to sue our nanny. Completely unprofessional, they broke our tv, a antique decorative piece and the list goes on. Do not use them, we had to call another moving company to finish the move because they didn’t show up

The movers showed up in a timely manner. They appeared well dressed and professional. They were very personable and willing to answer questions. They started off moving slowly, we figured they just needed to find their groove. We soon discovered the movers just sitting in their truck. We were told after we confronted them about it more than 15-20 later that they were waiting for us to clear space so they could move our stuff. They never actually said they needed this, they just retreated to their truck.

The 2 moving companies I had before were wonderful but I cannot help to be Very Unhappy with this company. First of all my 70 Inch TV was broken. I had just purchased it approximately a year ago. I already know that since he told me they were not liable for it then of course they do not care if it were to break or get cracked. There were several blankets that they could have used at the other house for the 70 inch TV but they were left there and one of the blankets were theirs.

I used this company to move during a very difficult and vulnerable time, and I feel as though I was taken advantage of. Service was great until they got my payment and my belongings moved into their warehouse. After that point, the responses ceased. Once they moved my furnishings from their storage into my new house, not only did I notice that a $2000 mirror was completely missing, but there was also $8000 worth of furniture damaged.

WARNING. Don’t use these guys. They will sell you the world but send guys to pack in an incorrect way. They packed my entire uhaul and waited until the end to do the 6 TVs that I mentioned multiple times is the most important thing for us. They couldn’t fit the TVs in the uhaul due to all the other pretty bad packing. They had mattresses on top of fragile boxes at the very top of the pack.
