In their own words
The moving company crew went into areas of my home that they were told that I didn’t need anything moved out of, which included closets that we had not packed up yet, and they stole a Coach brand backpack, then upon me confronting them, they gave it back, but the matching Coach brand wallet was no longer inside. They broke my treadmill (photo attached showing the way they tried to fix it), and they stole 1/2 of a shoe collection out of a room that I told them they had nothing in it to move.
I've never had any kind of issue with theft at this company.
Bait and Switch do not recommend it. The manager offered our complete move at $5400.00 and said the owner wanted to charge $12,500. He then told me no matter what, they would do the complete move with no issues and packing for $6,000.00. The manager claimed he would be there through the complete move and that they would haul off any trash or unwanted items from the old and new house. The packers didn’t finish packing the house on the first day.
You deserved a better experience. We have learned a lot from this and will continue to evolve both personally and professionally.
Worst experience of my veteran husband's life! Jessie Gartman was very rude, arrogant and condescending. Stomped out of our home shouting "LEAVE ME ALONE!! DON'T CONTACT ME!" He is truly a very hot headed person. Double billed us for our move. Demanded payment immediately after move but refused to send us an itemized statement for 16 days. Been a realtor for over 30 years never been treated this way in my life! Everyone beware.
Do not use this company!! They will steal your stuff and lie right in your face. Started out missing a Coach backpack with coach wallet. I was persistent they took it and after about 10 minutes one of the workers came from the moving truck saying "here it is - it was wrapped in a mattress pad" I let him know - it was in my closet and one of you stole it and wrapped it in that. So I got the backpack back but my wallet was gone. They should not have been in my closet.
I've never had an issue with theft at this company.
I don’t recommend this moving company to anyone! We had the worst experience with them; They send us two guys ( one of them was mostly checking his phone listening to the loud music and checking text laughing. The other one went to the bathroom and sitting there for about 45 minutes) They tried to increase the hours and charge more( and they did).

Revising my original review to be more concise. Sherpa helped my wife and I move on June 9, 2024. The first half of the experience was genuinely great. Sherpa was able to help on short notice, the crew was friendly, and they did a great job overall of packing up the old house. The second half of the experience was an absolute mess. All of the care that was shown at the old house was replaced by speed and recklessness at the new house.

Estimated a three-hour job, ended up taking four hours. Did not "use door jamb covers and lay down floor coverings" as stated in the estimate. Left tape trash throughout the house. Forced me through a contract with no option to choose full valuation, even though the final contract lists it as an option. Severely damaged a piece of family furniture, and has not yet responded to my damage claim. For movers costing $160/hour, I expected much much more.

I called these people because it said, “veteran owned.” They said that they would arrive in the afternoon. Nope, they didn’t arrive. Called first thing the next morning and was promised an afternoon arrival. Nope, they didn’t arrive. Called first thing the next morning. They said 2:00 pm. It’s now 8:20 and I haven’t seen them. Don’t call this company. Veteran owned doesn’t mean a thing.

We're military veterans with several big moves under our belts. From the initial walk-through to the last truck heading down our driveway, Sherpa delivered for us and even finished under budget! After reading multiple positive reviews on the OKC subreddit, we settled on Sherpa to handle moving our furniture and large pieces. Brittany quickly returned a quote and asked good questions to clarify how much and what they will move, and fully broke down the minimum and additional charges upfront. We had a very pleasant experience with Sherpa. From the first communication and estimates through the end. The crew showed up and walked through the home before starting to know what they were loading. One was in charge of stacking the items inside the truck to make everything fit while the other two were bringing things from the house. They wrapped up furniture items that needed protection and took apart our couch and put it back together with no problems. Not one single item was broken.
