In their own words
I used A-1 Piano a week ago to move a piano from my neighbor's house to mine. I was disappointed in the quality of the services and would choose a different company if I could do it again. The movers seemed experienced, but they were dismissive towards my and my neighbor's concerns. My neighbor asked them to wear booties (which she would provide) into her house since she had just had it professionally cleaned and it is now listed on the market; they said no.
Scheduled an appointment at their Interbay Warehouse, drove 45’ out, they were a no call/no show. Called them and they wanted to reschedule, no thanks.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

The staff was friendly and great. Communication was perfect amount, I knew what to expect. The movers were on time ans efficient. They knew what they were doing and made short work of it at both the pick up and drop off locations. My piano was not harmed at all during the move. Very pleased!!! Great company to move pianos
I usually don’t leave a lot of reviews, but A-1 Piano did an exceptional job moving my fridges (!!) through the balcony. My house has some really tight stairs that made moving my old, broken fridge down them impossible. I must have called at least 20 different places (local movers, piano companies, crane companies, you name it) and a lot of them would back out once they received all the necessary details and photos. I sent A-1 the same information and once we confirmed a few more things, they accepted the job.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that our team could help with your unique moving challenge. It was a pleasure working with you, and we're glad everything went smoothly.
We just had these movers come by this morning to move two pianos and they were quick and efficient. Prior to the move, getting a quote and scheduling was easy. Cost was fair and they had the pianos moves in less than 3 hours (including the transportation time) which is what we were originally quotes for. Highly recommend if you need to move some pianos for their fair price and good work. 👍
A1 Home & Piano has hands down one of the best moving crews in Seattle. If you get the holy grail moving trio that is Hill, Eric and Jose. You can be assured that you're in very good hands. This was my first time booking a move with a moving company and the entire process was a very seamless and painless one. My family was moving from one house into two separate houses adjacent to each other. A1 made what would've been a very complicated move into an enjoyable process.
