I would STRONGLY NOT Recommend this moving company!!!! They sent two young guys, that were hard workers non the less, but didn’t seem to know what they were doing!!! They had trouble bringing up the mattress, so once my husband arrived he had to pull on one end while the two movers were on the other side. And before my husband came they told me “ We needed to just buy a new mattress.”” What!!!”” I hired you to help my family, not have my husband pull half the weight.
I chose this company because of their excellent reviews, which is why this experience was so incredibly disappointing. The move started with one mover arriving late, and there was very little sense of urgency for much of the morning. After I explained that I had electricians scheduled at my new home and was trying to have the truck loaded by 2:00 p.m., the crew suddenly picked up the pace, making it feel like the earlier delays were avoidable.
They gave me a quote before I booked the service. And as they are loading the truck they keep adding ADDITIONAL fees! They said they only needed two people- those two people showed and said they need a third for a 1 bedroom apartment. My quote vs what I'm actually paying is HUNDREDS more. Do not recommend! Scam you out of more and more money.

The team they sent to my home did not know what they were doing and damaged a lot of my stuff. Pics attached. FULL STORY: This was a long distance move from my home into a shipping container. I had packed and moved 90% of the boxes and furniture into the ground floor garage so they could easily dolly out the items to their truck. I even saved them a parking spot on the street to ensure they were right out front.
The two movers that came to help me were very kind, respectful, and hardworking young men. They helped me single-handedly with my move, and I am very grateful for them. However, I did not have the best experience with MWAT. My movers were two young students in college. I do feel that more movers should have been assigned to my apartment - I talked to management on the phone when making the appointment and clearly expressed my concern with this and that 3 hours was not enough time for my apartment, but they assured…
Hi, I usually do not do reviews - but that is how bad the service was. To preface I am one person from a one bedroom apartment in Seattle to another one bedroom - 4 minute drive, boxes had been packed and piled by the front entrance, and no additional packing services were requested. 2 movers arrived. Since the beginning - neither gentlemen had a sense of direction of what they were doing even after I told them exactly what to do.
What a scam of a company. To move a 550 sq ft. studio, it took 9 HOURS! I watched one of the 3 movers they had for the job, literally come down with 1 small thing in their hand 4 consecutive trips down. Mind you, they had an elevator, and the truck was literally right out front of the apartment we were moving from. All of our stuff was pre packed. It literally just had to be moved into a truck, but moving it from the old apartment into the truck took 6 hours.... 6 hours, to move a 550 sqft. apartment into a truck.

The movers themselves did a decent job, and the driver was skilled. Unfortunately, the moving truck had existing damage to the top corner, with a large piece of metal protruding from it. When they arrived at our new home, that metal caught and shredded our exterior Xfinity cable, cutting off our internet service. I called the office to ask about filing a damage claim and was instructed to send proof.

We recently used Man With A Truck for our move, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and handled all of our belongings with great care. Their packing was efficient and organized, ensuring that fragile items were well protected throughout the move. What stood out most was their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to make the moving process stress-free.
Ahad and team did the move for me. Loaded in Redmond and unloaded in Sammamish. They were professional, polite, fast, and communicated effectively. They brought a truck, straps, blankets, wrap, and boxes. Very well prepared, great movers, and at a fair price.
Updating after a short night's sleep. Overall I think the move went well, but there were some problems that warrant a star drop. 1) The move took 4 more hours than estimated, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it was the difference between the crew wrapping up at 10 PM or 2 AM. The move went on and on until 2AM. It was not fun to have to supervise and help that late into the evening/morning.
This was such an incredible experience!! I cannot recommend this service highly enough. I was moving out of a large one bedroom apartment in Capitol Hill and was so incredibly stressed about finding reliable movers in Seattle, especially since my move was somewhat last minute. Almost immediately all my anxiety was relived by my two fantastic movers who were super communicative and highly efficient.
