A#1 Movers

I booked this company with a 1-2 bedroom option, AND, I told them about my gym equipment that I wanted broken down and my big sectional couch. I spoke to I don't know how many people about everything, and they still never showed up with the tools to break down my gym, they showed up with a small truck and a 2-man crew, not the 3-man crew I was quoted for. Then Colby has the audacity to text me a very rude text about how he needs to pay his crew and my charge that THEY told me they would charge wasn't enough.

Ok so they showed up late. Then they showed up with two movers and a small moving truck when I requested a three man team and the larger truck causing them to take longer and take an additional trip. So then as they informed me they only insure .60 cents per pound they joked about how they are sure I have warranty on my 65 in flat screened. They never told me when they arrived and when they left the second trip.

I didnt want to leave any star rating but I had to pick a star so this would post. The below pics are not the only things damaged. Please see the other damaged pics above, should be 11 more pics. So after dealing with this company Aug 16-Sept 6, they still have not bothered to "make this right"(according to the owner Juan). The "claims adjuster" they sent is not affiliated with any insurance he is their fix it man.

The entire plan was for this company to handle the heavy disassembling that I couldn’t do myself. I booked a 2-hour move for a master bed, a children’s bunk bed, and a washer and dryer. My destination was only 10 minutes away, and the quote was nearly $375. Instead of actual help, I got an absolute lack of effort and pure disrespect. ​To be fair, one of the movers was friendly, but you could see it all over his face that he was incredibly uncomfortable.

As a military dependent, I've come accustomed to moving since a child so I'm well versed on how the process works, especially since I've moved myself multiple times, even across country. I decided to hire movers to make the process easier on me due to multiple events taking place at the same time of my move. Juan reached out via text in response to my Angie's request. I requested a phone call to go into detail of what to expect so I could get the most accurate quote.

This is by far the worst moving company ever, if you use this company to move just know a lot of stuff will come up “missing” or stolen. They lie about the reimbursement plan and pay you 10% of the worth of everything that came up missing. Half of the reviews on here are fake if you want to see how the company really operates check YELP and you will see this company has had lawsuits on them stealing customer belongings and scamming folks. They “lost” a $300 dresser and tried to settle for $30.

I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. My movers were an hour and a half late but I didn't hold it against them because it was the end of that week in February when we had the snow storm and the roads had just started clearing up. What I didn't expect was to get two movers who had no idea what they were doing. Instead of them moving stuff to the truck they kept rearranging where the boxes and furniture were inside the apartment.

Beware of this company. 2 terrible experiences with them. You’ve been warned.. do not book with them!!!! 1st time I booked with them they were 5 HOURS LATE!!!!!! When the crew finally arrived, the team of 3 was incredible. (Shout out Marcelino) They were so on top of it and quick, but we finished at 1a on a Monday since they were so late. Anyways, we chose to book with Marcelino specifically a few weeks later for some more stuff.
