Wildcat Movers - Dallas

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid $3300 to have my house moved and it was a terrible experience. First the movers did not do as they advertise. The "red carpet treatment" is not what to expect. The movers multiply times got into our fridge in the garage to help themselves to snacks and energy drinks without asking. Second there were no masks worn at anytime and third they dropped my refrigerator from the top of the moving truck, Totaling the unit.

Overcharged, Negligent, and Missing Property This was an extremely upsetting and unacceptable experience with Wildcat Movers. I was quoted 3.5 hours (approximately $600) for a 1-bedroom, ~1,000 sq. ft. move that was a 30–32 second walk down the road. The operations manager (whose name was not provided to me) explicitly told me that I would only be charged the estimate I was given. Even at that amount, I did not feel the charge was justified given how poorly the move was handled.

Please see my review on Yelp. Bottom line is I discovered a valuable, sentimentally priceless heirloom missing after I unpacked. I called them the next morning after making certain that my heirloom was missing and not misplaced by me. I got a response late that morning from the owner, Zane, that they would look for it and that Zane would call me back with an update before the end of the day. Fast forward and it was 4 1/2 days before I got a response.

I had a 2 hour delay with my appointment and not once was I notified. I had to keep calling to see what was going on. I spoke to Daniel, the General manager and he wasn’t helpful at all nor could he understand my frustration! I asked for a discount as I had lost 2 hours of my day and was running late to turn in my apartment keys to the office. Daniel did not want to give me a discount, after a few minutes he decided all he could do for me was a $20 discount.

My initial review of wildcat movers was for first stage moving of boxes and bags and such and the guys did a great job. Unfortunately, the big move that entailed furniture, tvs, art and everything else was a joke. The move coordinator, Sarah, had video estimated that move at six hours with three guys for about $2k. When the guys showed up they found that they had no tv or picture packs on the truck (my place had quite a number of both).

I really didn’t want to spend time writing this review, but I feel obligated to given how highly rated this company is. One of the main reasons I booked Wildcat was their excellent Google reviews and the fact that the initial quote and video walkthrough experience was professional and reassuring. Unfortunately, the actual move was a disappointment. There were several significant issues, starting with damage to the new house we were moving into. They scratched the new wood stairs while carrying furniture.

The company moved me but didn’t put my items back together. And I only had two items for them to assemble.. I paid over $600 for a 2-hour move and expected better service. Be careful this company seems more focused on taking your money than providing quality work. They tell you reach out to the Office Manager with your concerns but the he doesn't call you just keep giving you unnecessary run around.. Very frustrating.

The Movers were rude. I was misquoted they did only half of the job claimed their truck was full. I looked at it. It was 50% full and when I addressed this a Movers stuck his hand in my face and And said well, maybe it’s 97% full. I was clearly upset. I heard them to move me and now I have to hire another set of movers to finish what they didn’t do. I have moved from Washington to California to Vegas back to California and all the way to Texas and I have never once had a problem with Movers.
