I’ve used this moving company three times before and previously had decent experiences. I’ve also worked for this company for a period of time and know the owner on a personal level, so I genuinely expected better. For context: my previous move with them was from a Highland Park townhome to a third-floor apartment in Fort Worth and cost about $600.

UPDATE: Here they are saying they have insurance meanwhile the two gentleman who came to my place made me sign a document stating i was aware they had none. Also they STOLE A PHONE AND A CAMERA OUT OF OUR FURNITURE THAT WAS WRAPPED. I find it very interesting that I received one call after they literally screamed and harassed me via text message from this Bobby character. Now the response from them of course paints a different picture.

My husband and I just had Move Place complete a move yesterday. I want to express my disappointment with the quality of service with the move. I will say the movers worked very hard all day but damaged SEVERAL expensive items. One of the movers tried taking the dryer off the truck ramp and it fell off the dolly and dented the dryer. We hope it will still work after we take from storage. Completely unacceptable. The gentleman told my husband not to tell his boss because he would get fired.

I’m honestly surprised at how many positive reviews there are considering my experience. I got a three man crew and I could tell that two out of the three were new. I gave them a map to the new location and told them to follow me so naturally they didn’t and kept me waiting for over 20 minutes and then charged me for that time. They also knicked my wall and didn’t tell me. I understand accidents happen but to hide it from me is disgraceful.
We conduct an honest business, Jessica. Each customer of ours is valued and respected. We're sorry to hear that our crew a few minutes behind on moving day. These days are full of eagerness and anticipation, so we're sorry for the frustration this caused.
They use part time movers ( subcontractors ) not serious about your move. Take breaks during the move, and the owner unresponsive after you've paid. I advise other Realtors to advise clients elsewhere for moving expertise.

Very poor customer service & movers. UPDATE: After actually looking at my belongings moved by these gentlemen pictured here, I needed to change from 5 to 1 star. They broke my huge planter, 3 years old, $250, holding the Sego Palm I have had for over 20 years. They also broke the leg to my unique, rolling dining chair. It belonged to my unique, hexagon pedestal table. They did not tell me about the chair. They actually hid the chair from me at my new home. They did not even apologize for the planter.

The movers themselves were overall pretty great but the company not so much. The few times I spoke on the phone to someone they were very rude. I booked them because i was getting a deal through another company to use them. My biggest concerns were on the day of the move the movers seemed to have no information on the location I was moving to/ the floor ect.

Use this place if you want your furniture damaged! I have used The Move Place twice and even recommended this place to friends and family but never again. The second time was my last and final time using them and I will never recommend them to anyone else. They even left a sour taste in my family's mouth but I totally disregarded that because they treated us so well the first time. I should've listened. But, they don't care because they've gotten their money, right? Yeah I'm still going to write this review.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend The Moving Place enough! Alex and his crew were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They were punctual, professional, courteous, and handled every single one of my belongings with incredible care. Moving can be such a stressful experience, but they made the entire process seamless and worry-free. Alex was an excellent communicator throughout the move and made sure everything was organized and efficient.
Denis and his team at The Move Place were absolutely amazing! They took their time and handled my belongings with extra care, which is something I value far more than speed or rushing through the job. They even set up my bed and made sure to ask where I wanted all of my furniture placed, which I truly appreciated. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they arrived right within the time frame they provided. It even started raining during the move, but that did not stop them at all.
Jorge and Mateo did amazing! We’ve had them for two moves so far. We are stagers and will continue to use them for more moves. Definitely choose these guys! Very respectful and reasonable price :)
