Movers of Dallas - Mustang Moving

Seriously I'm still living through the nightmare of moving with these folks 2 weeks later. Keep discovering new scratches and missing things. A gentleman called to schedule a visit to repair and assess the damage but was a no-show and never heard back. There was a delay because of a down elevator in my building so they were frantically rushing to make it to their next appointment. If you book them just know if they're running behind they won't hesitate to toss your stuff around.

I chose Mustang Movers for 2 reasons 1. the apartment complex I moved into referred them with a discount 2. The positive Google rating and reviews pppfftt what a joke I didn't realize Google reviews could be misleading and dishonest. I say unprofessional for a few reasons 1. Besides the office I thought Rusty the driver is the only person that should have my phone number not sure how or why one of the helpers has my number.

UPDATE: Louis offered $250 max to settle and said that offer was valid for 10 days. Again i refused due to the total weight of damage is at 570lbs. During the move some furniture got damaged and i contacted the company, sent photos of the damage, and asked to get compensated. Louis Handy has been the contact person and he offered to pay $200 out of $420 for the damage that was done to my new mattress, leather foot board, leather dresser, book shelf and another dresser.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I contracted to have only my furniture moved. During the move, one of the workers asked to use my bathroom and stole a pair of shoes from my closet. I started a claim, and the Operation Manager dismissed my claim on the same day without speaking to me to get my side of the story. Operations Manager refused to wait for Apartment security cameras, which were in the process of being provided to me and offered no resolution to the situation.

The moving experience was, unfortunately, the worst I have ever had. Looking back, I wish I had stayed with Firehouse Movers. Three movers arrived, but only one—Nick—presented himself professionally. He was appropriately dressed, had a professional demeanor, and remained focused on the job. The other two did not. One arrived wearing slides, eating breakfast, and left his empty breakfast bag sitting on my TV console.

If I could give these guys half a star, it would be too much. They came highly recommended and had a 5 star rating on here. I have never been so disappointed with the carelessness they exhibited moving into my new home. Jason was a nice guy but a few on his crew just didnt give a crap about my belongings or the fact that the wood floors in the house were getting scratched from dragging and dropping furniture and boxes. Damage caused to a few furniture peices.

I had gotten a great reference on these guys so I used them for a local move here in Dallas. I'm going to try and refrain from describing how I feel to sticking to the facts. First, they showed up with a pickup truck and trailer which was too small so they had to make two trips which almost doubled the cost of the move as well as their quote as they got stuck in traffic the second trip which we paid for since they are hourly. In the house we were leaving they damaged a light and scraped the wall in several places.

I unfortunately have to give this company a 1 star. We sent pictures of what the move entailed a week prior to the move. 30 minutes into the move they told me they would require to raise the rate by $80 an hour in order to continue moving. I had to move the equipment that day so I had no choice but to comply. The movers complained the whole time about the move. They went to the wrong address in Frisco even though I told them the intersection was in Plano.
