Buyer beware! Do not use this company. They are terrible at responding to your calls and could care less about your belongings. We have close to 25k in damaged furniture. With some of the furniture in peices. Furniture that they wrapped and drug across a dock somewhere. They loaded and then unloaded the truck onto another truck. We have a dresser that looks like it was dropped off the truck. They tell you lies about the truck location but have no idea where it is or when its coming. READ THE FINE PRINT.
So, this is a good one, keep reading, call this guy on his Asheville phone number provided through a website that has lists of "contractors" and guy says, yeah, great, you need two guys? On a Wed and a Fri. Deal, i've got you setup. Call two days before to make sure everything is good to go, setup, and things are where they need to be. Called three times throughout the day, 2 voicemails. No answers and no call back. Call today (Tuesday) and number is blocked. Haha, that's pretty good.
Very unprofessional. If you want honest, professional movers that you can trust, this is not the company to go with. I strongly suggest you take a few minutes, get on Google and look for another company. You will be glad you did!
Update 8/20/2024: After the owner's response in July and failure to honor the $200 refund as agreed, I filed a BBB complaint. Last week, the BBB notified me of the owner's response. In short, the owner stated he would not honor his promise to send a $200 refund because he was unhappy with my 3-star review. He misrepresented the facts and defected the blame.
They were extremely slow, they scratched my furniture and floors, they dragged my furniture across the hardwood floors and hit doorways messing the doors and furniture up. They took a 4 hour job and made it "7". They were there from 9 to 3 which is 6 hours yet charged me for 7 hours. They left things behind, couldn't move a basketball goal that was on a stand because it was "over 300 lbs". They threw all of my stuff in the garage at the new house and didn't even bother to put it in the rooms.
just saying in a few words they tore up my furniture and denied doing it ,the men told sarah they wrapped my furniture but they didnt after me asking them to.when I got in touch with her about it she agreed to get things fixed but never followed through,I would NEVER use them again or reccomend them.
They broke our TV while moving, you can still see the fingerprints on it. There is a huge crack through the TV. This TV was $850. I called and spoke with a guy, he didn't give his name, and told us there was nothing he could do. Would not recommend this company.
They moved half our stuff and promised to be back in the morning they did not come back and would not answer their phone.This left us in a mess since we had to be out of the house that day

I hired A&S Moving to help me with a long-distance move (~500 miles) and found them to be honest, transparent, and professional. The movers handled my belongings with care and everything arrived just as it was when I left it in my storage unit. I had initially put my TV in storage without any kind of protection, so one of the movers wrapped it in blankets to ensure it would not be damaged on the road. Personally, I considered that to be very thoughtful, and hence why I decided to leave this review.
