⸻ I strongly advise against using this moving company in the Twin Cities. The initial quote they provided was completely inaccurate, and the final cost ended up being nearly double what was originally promised. Their team was persistent in securing our business, but once the contract was signed, it became clear that their estimates were misleading. During the move, several items were mishandled.

Would leave 0 stars if it was an option. I scheduled a move on a day that the company chose, and sent the down payment. They called and confirmed my appointment multiple times to confirm the appointment and check in on the status of us packing. On the day of they NO SHOWED. When I called to see where they were, Travis confirmed I was on the schedule, he needed to call dispatch, and would get back me.

This company has some kind of an alleged system where it works to be a potential suspicious activity, which can happen based on other complaints that other customers of theirs who have submitted complaints. And now that has been pretty self-explanatory based on it experience that we had which was completely horrible and just shocking by how this company had approach to us.
WARNING to Twin Cities residents looking to hire a moving company: DO NOT USE AAA Movers for your move!! They fail at all levels of efficiency, transparency, and, above all, integrity. Here's my experience: Day 1 (10/1/25): The move crew showed up on time and got to work right away. Things started out great. After about 1100, I started to see how slowly they were progressing with the move. The entire move was estimated to take about 8 hours.
Hi Britt, We’re sorry for the confusion and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation. Your original estimate covered 86 items, but our team discovered over 300 items, including a 4x8 storage unit that wasn’t mentioned until later in the move.
The inconsistency of service is what really drove me to write this review. I had used the same movers previously just two months before this move and everything went seamlessly and the move was about $600 which I expected because we did go a little bit over but the gentlemen were awesome and they worked really hard that they did the best they could.

I used them for a second time, and it was terrible. Charged way over what I was quoted. I was quoted about $500 to $700, and it took them so long and work so slow that they charged me $1100. What a waste of money. The first time I used them, they were great. The second crew was slow, one of them gave me a glare after I said if they dont feel comfortable moving something, to let me know. I guess that triggered something in them. I was charged for the VIP service.

Update: Thank you for the response, which has been kinder and more clear than any private conversation that was had. We did in fact let your crew know that they could start unpacking in our garage during that two hour window (which part of that time was their lunch break) and they let us know that they were waiting for dispatch to give them directions. They would have been able to use that time to start unpacking, which ultimately would have saved them time in the long run.
Hi Kristy, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We wanted to address the main factor behind your final bill being higher than the estimate — our crew was required to wait over two hours at a gas station because the home closing had not yet been finalized.
Not the same company it used to be. We used them in 2020 for our last move. That move went great so when it came time again I contacted them first. We were a little over a month out from the move (May 27th) and I wanted to get the movers locked in. They got right back to me. I gave them the rough numbers on boxes and we did a video call walk through of the house so they could understand the amounts and sizes of furniture etc.

The service provided was excellent. I highly recommend!! I will be telling EVERYONE! The 3 - person team worked hard! They communicated to each other how to maneuver during 2 person lifting, and they were extremely careful. They had all the equipment necessary to protect the floors, doors and jams. They wrapped the furniture for transport, even though they aren't priceless pieces, they treated all my items like they were. The team was friendly, efficient, and on-time.

Kevin, Brady and marus were get getting everything loaded fast and efficiently. They’re very easy and friendly. Will be working with them on delivery after storage.. Val in the office was very friendly and easy to work with as well. She made sure that I understood all the charges and gave me an estimate. Because the team worked so well the bill after gratuity was well under the estimate. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a great experience with AAA. It started off with a very helpful introduction call with Val where she talked through the options for moving, reviewed my inventory, and talked about what was included and what wasn't. She gave me some pointers to help speed the process up, and they don't start the clock until they arrive. With out even seeing our house, I'd say her estimate of 5-6 guys and 2 trucks taking about 6-8hrs was spot on. Therefore the price was right in the range she gave.
