Matt's Moving Company

If you want your storage unit to look like this, have an extremely unprofessional experience with no respect of your items AND to have to go back and spend two hours of your own time to fix what was done - DO NOT use Matt’s Moving!! I had high end winter clothing items go missing during my move (Canada Goose, Uggs, Moncler) and custom wood furniture damaged (Room and Board, pottery barn) when I confronted Sherri, their sales associate she told me the best they could do was reimburse me $200 in total.

Disappointing communication and time mismanagement We confirmed three movers multiple times, yet only two arrived, which immediately delayed the start and created unnecessary back and forth between the movers, the coordinator, and us the customers. Instead of beginning with clearly prepared and obvious items -boxed belongings, shelves, and a fully disassembled bed- the movers spent an excessive amount of time focused on what not to move, despite us giving clear and repeated direction.

I used them on a recommendation. My move was in July of this year. The office personnel setting up the service was great, and that is where it ended. I had more than 99% of my house moved to main floor or garage to ensure ease of moving . Of the 4/5 men that showed up , one actually worked hard . I frequently found a few of them sitting in my garage,. One was so lazy , he carried single boxes that were light and small enough for an 11 year old to carry… no urgency to get the job done.

I would not recommend them!!! The movers were fantastic however, the office staff were not in communication with me about the movers running late and eventually they stopped answering the phone. They close at 5:30pm and stopped answering my calls at 5pm. I would give customer service zero stars if I could, and the movers five stars. Find some other company to go with. Don't give yourself the headache of going with Matt's.

This is by far the worst moving company we have ever hired for multiple reasons. Below are only a few of what came to mind right now. 1. Inefficiency: the crew gave the impression of being on time and efficient for the first hour, then things went downhill from there. We were assigned and paid for 5 movers including Matt himself, but only 2 of them were doing the work. The worst of them being Matt himself, who was supposed to coordinate the movers but who spent most of the time idle. 2.

I have waited to post this in hopes of a resolution to issue with Matts Moving. We had all our things boxed, labeled and ready to go. The guys that showed up were nice enough and the billing was ok. The move went fine and I gave the gents a nice cash tip in addition to the tip on the credit card when I signed off on the billing at the end of the day. Unpacking, found 1 box of ceramics, which were well packed and bubble wrapped, absoluttely smashed. Things happen. I get it.

Matt's Moving did my move a few months back. I thought it was pretty bad at the time, but every time I tell someone about the move they are absolutely appalled, so I figured I'd leave a review. TL;DR - vomit left behind, blood spots on my mattress, and calling each other slurs The guys were nice and definitely doing their best, so I didn't want to blast them specifically in a review about the company.

“The top lifted somehow” Oh really? I thought you said your guys didn’t attempt to move it. Right??? Okay, I’m glad you “wrapped and padded it” then proceeded to somehow break it without moving it. This company sucks. Horrible experience. They argue with you after they break your stuff. There is zero accountability by the leader of the moving team and even worse, zero accountability for the people that are in charge of the company.
