Absolutely hectic experience. The lack of communication among staff was unbelievable. I was initially given a discount because the movers arrived late—only to have that discount removed later, along with other unexpected charges. My original estimate of $437 skyrocketed to $1,390 in one day. To make matters worse, my bike was damaged so badly during the move that I can’t even ride it anymore, and I’m now getting the complete runaround trying to get it resolved.

Supporting black owned business is important to me, so I chose Aaron Bros for my move. The pre-move experience was good; I found that phone calls were handled well and timely. The crew who worked my move however was horrible. Except for the lead, these guys worked like kids cutting school: slow, unmotivated, sloppy and stoned. When they arrived at 8:30am, they reeked of weed. My furniture was damaged with scratches here and there, with a deep gouge on one item after the move.
Aaron brothers were a joke. First we set the time for 8am they arrived after 9am 2nd. We were moving from a senior 1 bedroom place. Not like a regular 1 bedroom apartment. They gave us a.price of $895. From Chicago to Gary Indiana 43 minutes, I'll even round it to an hour. They had to leave all 3 of them they didnt have sleeves for tv, nor boxes for the bed. That pushed us back even further. Now it's 10:45 am starting working.

The worst movers I’ve every seen! They showed up over an hour and a half late with no phone call. The short chubby African American guy at headquarters then got a horrible attitude with me when I asked why they didn't call. Then I smelled liquor on the breath of one of the movers. They change their quotes and prices like the wind. What they say orally will not be what's emailed so watch out!
These guys r cheaters. We had to move one bedroom and living room sofa and dining table from very close storage. It took them a short time to move everything but they didn’t have drill to assemble just one bed and dining table. Took extra one and half hr. Top of that had only one screw, so second person was standing, doing nothing. Movers were very rude. When talked to the guy in the office, he was also very rude.

I was supposed to move on the 7th of March, but unfortunately there was a storm and my movers needed to reschedule. They would not be available until Thursday the following week and that was not going to work because I needed to turn the keys in to the unit asap. So the next business day, I was stressed.
