Abe Lincoln Movers - Denver, CO

Worst move ever. They were four hours late and then took seven hours to move 1 bedroom only three blocks away (finishing at midnight), I have missing items, broken items including a couch (still waiting for repair 3 weeks later). My building security found some of my boxes in the parking lot post move. They forgot wardrobe boxes so wrapped all of my items in moving blankets - then left my clothes on the floor and left the moving blankets in my place.

A very cosmetically valuable appearing item "disappeared" between the van and my apartment while Abe Lincoln movers was helping me unload. I called the company and gave them a chance to make things right, and they never even bothered calling me back. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy company. Would not recommend unless you keep a close eye on the workers throughout the entirety of the move. Otherwise things will vanish and the company will do nothing to assist.

Extremely disappointed with this move. Very inefficient and since they charge by the hour it seemed to me that they were just running up time. The total move time was 11 hrs and cost $2600 for a move from a 2 bedroom 1700 sq ft apartment to a 3 bedroom 2200 sq ft apartment. The reason I'm so upset is that they called the day before and asked if i wanted to add an additonal mover for $80/hr so we could reduce the time it took to move.

I decided to use Abe Lincoln Movers after one of my neighbors recommended them. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment in Denver to Thornton. The move included the pickup in Denver and two stops in Thornton, one at a single-family home and one at a storage unit 0.4 miles from there. The total move from a one-bedroom apartment took an unbelievable 8 hours, twice what the owner had estimated the first time he and I spoke.

Please stay away from this scamming company! This was just a horrible move! I had them move me out of my home in New Jersey. And into my home in Wisconsin. And to start there was one of the men named Ron came smelling like liquor bad!. And apologized for the smell as he was “up late last night” the guys put multiple holes in my wall. Scratched up wood items like you have no idea. Completely broke my door off the hodge. They ruined two original painting. Which costed over 7k.

Substantially late without notice or discount Price gauging Groupon Scam I had to call at 9am to confirm the move was still happening since I did not receive a call to notify me of a delay. Ron apologized and said the truck was in the shop and they would arrive at 930a instead of our 9am appt. They arrived at 930a and finished at 11:40a. Ron made his mover tell me it was a 3 hour move and in total it would be 395. I had to literally count the hours out loud to Ron and let him know it was 2 hrs and 10 minutes.

We have been through a lot of moves in the past 10 years, including 2 out of state moves, and this in state move was by far the worst experience we have ever had! Communication all the way through was horrible! First, there was no communication from the company in regards to confirmation. We had to call them twice to confirm ourselves. The movers were about 15 minutes late. Not a big deal, but again, communication would have been nice.

Looks like I'm not alone... Ron was very nice at first when setting up an appointment, and his guys were nice, too - however - they were 90 minutes late and extremely slow. I actually ended up moving large pieces along with them for the last hour at my previous residence because they were taking such a long time. I've been through a few moves and usually, the guys are running to the truck to make the most of your money and time.
