Two Men and a Truck Moving

This was the most unprofessional moving company I’ve ever worked with. Everything was good leading up to the move (confirmed via email and by phone) then the day of the move (when they were supposed to arrive between 8-9 am), they just didn’t show up. After calling probably 50 times with no answers and leaving multiple voicemails, I finally got through to Laurie, our estimator who worked hard to figure out what happened. Booked movers for a small bedroom worth of furniture to move to a house 6 minutes away. Movers showed up later than estimated when they called me that morning, and spent 15 minutes completing paperwork (which I was charged for, and was all paperwork that could have been sent ahead of time). Actual movers did a good job, were careful with furniture, but severely lacked in communication.

I strongly urge anyone considering this moving company to think twice. My experience was nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. This was my first time hiring movers, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The movers arrived over an hour late with no heads-up, and once they started, it was clear they were in no rush. They moved painfully slow, dragging out what should have been a simple 3-hour job into a 5-hour ordeal—clearly milking the clock. I was charged $1,260 for incredibly poor service.

Spoke with Hana (estimator) and was given and estimate for a local move. When move day came movers Jacob and Grayson showed up did a walk though and confirmed my estimate. A few hours into the move the movers stated they should of been dispatched with a bigger truck because the full move will not be completed with this truck that my opinion is pay for a EXTRA round trip or finish myself.

The worst customer service experience I've ever had. I used Two Men & A Truck (Denver/Thornton) for a move in Littleton, CO in August 2024—and deeply regret it. One mover disregarded clear instructions, broke multiple items (including a $100+ Anthropologie vase), and most concerning of all, spilled bleach on the carpet of my new home, causing visible damage. The stain was intentionally hidden under a bag, and we discovered it only after they left.

They'll break your stuff, be careful. Especially if it's particle or press board, or even MFP. My $600 brand new piece of furniture was busted in my move and it's unfortunately covered in their liability form that they rush you through signing as you're trying to move. Be sure to read the fine print. And don't let them touch anything not covered by their waivers.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE TWO MEN AND A TRUCK! I can't say enough what a miserable experience using them has been. I should have read the reviews prior to hiring them. Now, I am going to do everything I can to help ruin an already tarnished reputation. I was looking forward to using a moving company and giving myself a break. Unfortunately, this move was the hardest I have ever experienced.

I would suggest avoiding Two Men and a Truck. During the quote process, we were told that they would be sending 2 trucks and a crew of 4 movers. On the morning of our move, they called to tell us they would only be sending 1 truck and 3 movers.
