Amazing Moves Moving & Storage

Amazing Moves is the most incompetent moving company I have encountered and I have moved Many times over the years. They were 3 hours late and did not call me to let me know. I called support when they were 30 minutes late and left a voice mail since I was not given the opportunity to speak to a human. I finally got a call back telling me they would be about 90 minutes late due to a warehouse issue. They finally arrived 3 hours after my confirmed appointment.

This is been a terrible experience from beginning to still no end. The move was estimated at $1000. It was Over double that price. The movers lost several parts of a sewing machine that I use for my business which is my income. One of the movers blamed it on me and said that I left it at the old house. I did not even touch the sewing machine moving day.

The guys who moved were relatively efficient, BUT, they put holes in my dresser, book case and the wall. I have expected these accidents can happen and they have brought the pieces back to fix and said that they will send a specialist to fix the wall. After several calls and more than a month later, they brought back the dresser and book case. They book case was missing a shelve and the staff said they did not have the missing piece (meaning I have it, but I don't).

Don’t use this company anymore. They are no longer a family owned business and are now owned and operated by Armstrong group. Beware of all good reviews since they were from original management and ownership. Brand still exists but really poor experience. New brand took mgmt took over about a month ago. No one answers the office phone, only “sales” No inventory sheet upon delivery to confirm they’ve delivered all of your things Everyone is subcontracted out even the ones driving their trucks.

Please Google, let me give them less than zero stars. Absolutely do not use this company. During our 4th time moving with this company, they destroyed a coffee table that was in perfect condition from Ballard Designs and was less than 3 years old before they failed to wrap and move the table properly, resulting in major cracks on either side of the table. I paid for 'full value coverage' and the claim was denied based on 'Colorado climate conditions' HAHAHAHAHAHA. I am hiring an attorney to seek restitution.

Sadly, I cannot adequately illustrate the magnitude of the disaster we have been involved in with hiring Amazing Moves. I made very clear that with my disabilities, I would require movers to pack our family home entirely, move us entirely and unpack us entirely. My contractual agreement stated SIX (6) Packers and the morning of packing, ONLY 3 arrived! The Lead Mover was verbally disappointed in his own company, yet he had zero control over what the dispatchers and administrators did.

I really didn’t want to leave a negative review, but unfortunately, I was left with no other way to express my concerns. My move was scheduled with the understanding that two trucks and a larger crew would be provided. However, due to call-outs, only one truck and a smaller crew arrived. As a result, some items were left behind because there simply wasn’t enough space on the single truck. While I understand staffing issues happen and I was okay with that part, the real issue came afterward.

I cannot even give one star for them, but have to in order to write this. I have had a horrible experience and was changed a large amount of money to move my items to Utah. They had been storing my items for a few months in Colorado until I was ready to have my items moved to Utah. The list of items stored DID NOT match the list I received upon delivery . Needless to say we are missing so many items and sentimental items that they cannot locate.
