Did not pack all that needed packing, smushed my ring, broke my sons toys, broke my mothers vase,left their tape,boxes,and paper at our house, mixed my apartment stuff with the storage stuff, and did not offer to pay what they broke, got here 1hour after they were supposed to be their on the first day and almost 2 hours late the second day.
This company is very unprofessional. They continue to hang up on customers. Once you finally get them on the line they transfer you without warning! 🚩 …

Dear Mr. Scott McNelly, President and CEO - I need your help. Your company damaged 6 pieces of custom made furniture during our move on Oct 30, 2015. The specific piece of furniture I need your help with is our Parsons table. The Parsons table was scratched in several places during the move and when your company attempted to have it repaired it looks like a belt sander was used and now the entire table top is damaged. You shipped the table to the custom furniture maker in St.
Must read**** I got quotes from many movers in the Montgomery area. I must these guys were the cheapest. BUT, they miss led me and under quoted by over 60% and would not work with me on it. Original quote was for $1450 and the bill came in over $3400!!!!!! WHAT A SHOCK. Their reasoning was you just had too much stuff. Well you SHOULD HAVE known what I had because you WALKED the house with me. I even brought all the attic stuff down for you. BE WARNED DON'T USE this group.
This company exhibits poor marketing strategies. Their representative claims that state law precludes them from issuing a fixed price quote when, in fact, it is not illegal for any moving company in Alabama to provide a fixed price moving quote, also known as a "binding estimate," as long as they clearly state the terms and conditions of the fixed price and adhere to federal regulations regarding interstate moves, which allow for both binding and non-binding estimates depending on the situation.
Great initial visit and quote. Also nice and respectful 3 movers we had. I bought them all some power aide and water for the visit. However, several damages to most wooden items with scraping, marks and damaged dresser cabinet hardware. Little care was taken when using a hand truck down stairs, slamming on each stair. At the end of the day, they we not sorting the boxes into the rooms we had labeled, instead all boxes ended up in the wrong rooms. Pricing is competitive with other local vendors.
They got us from point A to point B. A local move. The packing was so unorganized, and so many things were broken and a piece of furniture scratched. I could not honestly recommend them.

After a stressful search, I was relieved to find a great deal for my move after obtaining several quotes. The day of my move, the movers (John, Charles and Connor) were prompt, courteous, careful and FAST. It was a relief to have such wonderful professionals help me to complete what is always a stressful task! I give them my highest recommendation!!

Admiral Movers was the ideal choice for my in-town move. I appreciate the courteous, responsive staff always ready and willing to respond. They made what could’ve been a stressful situation of moving to a new house a lot easier and they did it with smiles and great attitudes despite the Alabama heat! They took great care of my belongings and were extra careful when maneuvering items through the home. I am definitely pleased with this service!!

The three quotes that I received from various movers were pretty much in the same price range. However, Mark's kind and professional attitude as he carefully checked everything I needed to be moved swayed me to choose his firm. The packers (two of whom ended up being the movers, also) were so careful with my goods. I am not finished unpacking yet, but everything that I have unpacked up to this point was perfectly safe and unbroken.
I wanted to share my experience from a move in February of 2018. First of all I had no idea what I was doing when I received my first quote and not realizing that each company in Alabama must follow the guidelines, I reached out to Admiral and was connected to Mark to estimate my move. he not only educated me on the process, he made helpful suggestions to save money on the move. My estimate actually was higher than the actual freight cost which was an additional bonus!!
