I rented a unit for 3 months when it was time to move my stuff I contacted them letting them know I was moving I was told I had until 12/4 before they locked my unit. I went and got a U-Haul came to move could not get in so I called the call center and was told I had to pay 150 I paid 150 on 12/3. I called the office because I couldn't understand why I had to pay to move out and was told I would get a refund within 3 days I waited 7 days called and was told call back in 10 days I waited 10 days just to be told I…

A SCAM!! In the hot summer they have the temperature set to 80 degrees and they do not tell you that before giving you your unit. Once i got my unit and I went to find it I WAS SWEATING by the time I found it (wasn’t a long walk) That’s just how hot and humid it was in there. And it was a climate control unit… I never moved anything in and they are refusing to give me a refund. Everything about that process has been misleading.

Our recent rental of storage space with Devon Self Storage Montgomery is a short term solution to moving out of the facility. Following an extremely high increase in rental rates sealed the deal to move out. As I understand it, military and Senior discounts were eliminated as well. The staff at this facility were very helpful and facilitated our transaction efficiently and with courtesy. Hate to see a company drive away long term customers, as we are not the only ones leaving.

They charged me $175 for a unit that was originally $146. I moved out of it and I was still charged another $46 for the new unit. Since this company took over the outside grounds are filthy, the inside of the facility is no longer maintained, the moving carts are broken, lighting inside the facility is awful! The 2 is only for the sweet helpful lady who works in the office! DEVON needs to CLEAN UP and stop taking people's money!

Got charged for a lock that never was in the storage unit. Ended up getting late behind payments and they literally sent an email out for 170 then went up the next day 100 dollars. Highly don’t recommend! Instead go with life storage they’re so much more professional.

One of the worst service web sites I have ever experienced. Just trying to register and set up sign-in credentials is impossible. Ask you to choose a "security question", drop down list doesn't work. A true armature outfit and design.

After four contacts, I finally got the help. However, it would have been a FIFTH visit had I not bought a lock from them Susan was wonderful help, but information was very poorly disseminated!!

I have been working with “Susan” for about 6 months. I just recently obtained a 2nd unit. She has been very helpful and most professional. She is prompt and responsive and a great person to worth with. I was previously with another storage facility and Susan by far is the best to worth with. Recently she helped me get a 2nd unit very close to my first unit , which was important to me. I would recommend this Storage facility over any others in Montgomery and I have used several. The facility is well run.

I have been a customer of Metro self storage since 2019. My payments come automatically out my account every month. On April 2, 2022 I notice a tremendous storage charge. Metro self storage charge me $70 more than my regular payment. This was a ridiculous increase amount for a storage fee. I’ll call the local storage where my storage was and tried to talk to someone about the increase. They never answered the phone.
