This was the worst moving experience of my life and I moved countries during COVID. The workers came totally unprepared with two small three by three wooden dollies. I asked them to bring door stops but they didn’t. When I called the main office they told me they could send some better equipment, but this is what they send for apartment moves??? These little square dollies could move one box at a time. They were unprofessional and didn’t know how to move furniture.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. To clarify, your base cost was less, but the long walking distance added extra labor time that increased the final total. We want to make this right for you, so please reach out to us directly so we can resolve this.
4th Update: After paying the full balance they invoiced me for, the company is now refusing to return my belongings unless I sign a separate “settlement agreement” that was never part of the original contract. The document would prevent me from leaving reviews, filing complaints, or taking legal action — and they are withholding my property until I sign it.

I'm sharing this review because I believe in being transparent. Usually, I don't leave detailed reviews if I'm not satisfied. However, since I picked this company based entirely on its positive Google reviews alone, I felt it was necessary to give my honest feedback of my moving experience. 1/ initial planning - The initial callbacks, follow up and scheduling of my date was very smooth and GREAT.
I decided not to move ahead with them and they started as I had a better quote, I also told them on the call that I have a better price but I really appreciate your time and effort. Later they text and talk about the other company not being professional and warn that they will damage the stuff! If you guys provide best service, still should not talk about other companies 👎

Terrible experience with Advance Moving. They broke my TV, scratched up my leather couch, and still had the nerve to give me attitude. Then they overcharged me on top of all the damage. Absolutely the worst moving service I’ve dealt with I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

We don't have any record of someone being charged extra $450 by the movers and we don't do that. We also don't have any record of your name on our system. We kindly ask you to reach our customer service at [phone removed] and we will definitely help you if you actually used Advance Moving Services.

What really stood out was how super accommodating they were—they carefully placed all our boxes in the respective rooms exactly where we wanted them. It made unpacking so much easier! This was my second time with Advance Moving - They are absolutely amazing to work with! Rajan & Nicholas (Nick) were so quick, efficient and hard working. They helped me Move from my place to the new place as well as unload the Pods Container. They placed everything in the house the way we wanted to & Ahmad was great with communication. We booked them 3 days before the moving but they accommodated our quick turnaround. I would highly recommend booking them, if you want a stress free & efficient moving experience.

Really appreciate the team of Azeez, Robert, Brandon and Dylan for helping us move this past month. They did an amazing job, were very professional and had such a good attitude and humor about their work. There were some fun moments which helped to lighten the stress of the move. This team was willing to do anything we asked, including moving other furniture around in the house. They were creative in how to maximize their trips and how to place things in the truck and in the new home.
