I am severely disappointed with this company. I will not refer anyone to this company nor do I have anything nice to say, so I'll keep sweet and as short as I can. The first time we used "miracle movers" the service was amazing! We were so happy! They moved us in 3.5 hours and we lived on the third floor of a walk up building but however, our most recent experience was such a headache. We booked a time for them to come on a Wednesday at 2 pm.
I will never hire Miracle Movers again. We had a 2 bedroom apartment move from the 3rd floor of a building with stairs. They informed me about the $30 charge for staircase. That's fine, I have moved 11 times in my life and I have never experienced such a bad move. Multiple (6) wood pieces of furniture were significantly damaged and dented. Television screen scratched in 4 different places. The movers did not take apart bigger pieces of furniture. Tried to "squeeze" every last piece through the doors.
Unfortunately the whole situation was a result of a misunderstanding between the customer and the agent from the very beginning. Apparently the misunderstanding was that the customer was moving from a 3 story house, and not from an apartment located on the 3rd floor, without an elevator.
My partner and I have experienced over 5 moves before but this time we decided to try Miracle Movers, after seeing the amazing and overall positive reviews. Biggest mistake ever, should have read the negative reviews first. Our overall experience can be described as a complete nightmare. It started off with the movers backing up their truck into the moving dock of our building (our damage deposit cheque of $500 is now being held). Told the movers to wait so we can get the concierge, did they listen? Nope.
We appreciate our customers being open with us and sharing their feedback no matter of event's experience. We are terribly sorry that your relocation did not go as smooth as planned. We appreciate your patience and collaboration during the investigation of this issue.
I am only giving 1 star as 0 stars or negative stars are not an option. MOVERS beware!!! I cannot believe any of the positive reviews are legit. This company messed up on 2 separate moves- the first one, I was charged for boxes that were not used, challenged by the unprofessional manager (Ron ) until I made him take out my boxes from storage and count himself. The aggressive movers held out their hands for tips once my items were in the truck ready to be transported to the storage facility.

This company illegally and dangerously parks in front of fire hydrants, blocking access to them. When I informed the worker, he just smirked and carried on. Edit based on the response below: as you can see in the picture, only the ramp was in the loading zone. The entire truck was outside the loading zone, in the portion of the street with thick bold lines that indicate no parking (not the skinny lines that indicate the loading zone). You can even see the first thick line directly under the truck’s licence plate.

We moved last week and had a terrible experience. The team knocked over bleach during the move which stained our carpet but for some unknown reason, wouldn’t take responsibility for it. Given we were closing the house the following day we had to scramble to get someone to come and fix the carpet, which we paid for. They also put a hole in the drywall when moving our couch, which they said they would fix.

Broke a beautiful mirrored dresser in 2 different areas, and tried to walk it by me, but I saw it. Pictures were taken and they explained that it would be covered as company is insured. They then tried to get me to sign a document stating the move was completed and everything was in good condition, but I refused. Now this bonded company is trying to say that my $2000+ dresser (not more than 6 months new) is only worth $72.

After booking the elevator and paying them a deposit of CAD 100, they did not come on time on the agreed date for moving, they did not apologize for being late by 3 hours!!!! they started to attack my poor family when my daughter showed her dissatisfaction regarding this situation and when we requested to receive the CAD 100 deposit as we do not trust them and lost the chance to move on that day , they refused and till date they do not want to return the money back even though we were hurt by their action and we…
I am Ron, the only Manager who spoke with your daughter on the phone on the day of your move. I feel very sorry and ashamed of loosing your business and you as a customer. I am however greatly dismayed at the misleading, erroneous and, to a certain degree, false review you left.

I was having trouble with another moving company and had to switch to miracle movers a little last minute (as in, two weeks or so before my move) and I'm so glad that I did. Miracle movers made my move so much less stressful. They got back to me so quickly about my moving estimate, and were so good with checking up on me to see if I had any questions, etc. I really appreciated that when they said they'd call me back, they'd do so when they said they would.

Miracle Movers was recommended to me and my boyfriend through a family member's friend. I'm happy to say that they did not disappoint. Excellent communication with Danielle when I was first organizing my move. On the day of the move, Luis and Ruben were incredible, taking a lot of the stress out of our day. While my estimate was for 3.5 hours, the entire process ended up being a 6 hour move, which was exhausting. Despite that, those two guys were so professional and friendly through it all.

Excellent moving company with highly efficient crew and reachable coordinators. I recently moved from Toronto to Halifax and here is my detailed feedback: Pros: 1. Accurate quote: if you can keep your item's weight within the quoted limit, I assure there won't be any surprise 2. Excellent communication: whenever I contacted them, Kevin and Robert (long distance coordinators) replied back promptly with satisfactory answer 3.
