I do not recommend Advanced Moving and Storage. They had very heavy items from another person on the truck that I was charged for by them. Driver told me that happens. They packed several of my items that I had in climate controlled storage using bubblewrap and blankets. They saw the condition of my items prior to taking them. I asked the guys if my items were going directly to a larger truck (took 2 small trucks) and then my new home, they said yes.
We take feedback like this very seriously and would like to clarify several important points regarding this move. This job originated from a public storage facility, where access limitations prevented a semi-truck from entering the property.
I had a very bad experience with this moving company. The movers arrived and demanded cash payment before they would start the move. When I refused to pay cash, my credit card was charged anyway, and they did not perform the moving service. I was left without the move I had booked and had to deal with disputing a charge for services I never received. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Advanced Moving & Storage provides top-notch service at a great price! Be prepared to pay cash on the day of the move. BUT they estimated 3 hours, we got done in 2 hrs 15 with a minimum 2 hour charge, so we got $ back for 45 minutes, cash on the spot no waiting for the refund. Even better, the actual movers with the truck were super careful with our stuff, AND as a bonus they were pleasant and polite. Getting through the paperwork was also a breeze. Fast, accurate & thorough - what else could you want?

I have moved a lot over the last 10 years and my last move was excruciating so I decided to hire movers. I used yelp to compare quotes and I experienced kind of weird situation because I also received a quote from another company under the same exact name, then I was going to only do storage but switched to a move and the day before my move or two days before my move the inventory wasn’t accurate. I had to go through it again, so it was pretty annoying, BUT Donna was amazing and extremely patient with me.

I met two of the movers, Gabriel and Julius approximately 10 months prior to our move. A customer, I knew spoke highly of this company. They sent a representative out to our home estimating the move. Many moving companies do not do this anymore. We contracted with Advanced and the move went great. No stress, no hassle and no worries! The owner, Tyler visited to make sure things were going well. Greg, the estimator was spot on with the number of trucks and men needed.

This is the second time using Advanced Moving and Storage. They did such a great job moving us from Arizona to New Mexico, that we used them once again, for our move from New Mexico to Illinois. Just like our first experience, they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoroughly explained. They arrived on time and it was obvious from the beginning, they knew what they were doing. From wrapping our items, to the way the truck was loaded.
