In their own words
I wish I had a good review to provide for Laser Moving International but unfortunately that is not the case. We relocated from the US to Europe. Before signing the contract, Peter T. was very responsive. Once the contract was signed, and epecially once our stuff was shipped, Peter stopped answering emails, causing delays at customs at the arrival port, which caused some extra charge (thankfully covered).
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry that aspects of your relocation did not meet your expectations, and we take your concerns seriously. We acknowledge that there was a delay in responding to your emails regarding your insurance claim, and we sincerely apologize for that.
They lost/stole 7 boxes from my move from Miami to london ( over 4K worth of products). They are very unprofessional and told me “it’s not their fault and I should deal with” I’ll advise you to find another company.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns regarding potentially missing items and understand how upsetting that can be. At the time of delivery, you notified us that some boxes might be missing, and on October 1, 2024, we provided detailed instructions on how to file a…
Ryan seemed a competent individual and offered various relo budgets over the years. I was finally able to move and decided to go with him The original budget was increased by 1.5K. According to him, the volume was increased. Well, no wonder if the movers made sure they packed a pair of shoes in one humongous box. Obviously, the volume and the footprint were going to be impacted. They sub-contracted some other company in Belgium that had appalling reviews. See removalreviews dot co dot uk gosselin-group.
We’re sorry that this move did not meet expectations. We always strive for a smooth, damage-free relocation, and in this case our team worked closely with the client throughout the process. The insurance claim for damaged items was processed and settled for $4,085 USD.
I’ve lost a huge amount of money, time, and trust dealing with this company — especially with Eddie, who handled my order. I was initially quoted $9,000, but by the end, I was charged over $16,000 — with no clear explanation and a pile of hidden fees. The delivery took months, and when it finally arrived, the items were poorly packed, damaged, and incomplete. I was misled at every step. Meanwhile, I was stuck paying for equipment and rent I couldn’t use, all while getting excuse after excuse.
Thank you for your review, however, we are unable to locate the name "James Pinder" in our system. Furthermore, we have no legal action against our company and cannot find any shipments that were in the $16,000 price range that took 6-Months to deliver.
Thousands of dollars in damages due to poor pack and poor handling, but settled quickly and easily. Bitter sweet experience for an international move. (Have done 3 international moves prior and nothing like this, fortunately). Communication good, price about right, but packers let the side down which resulted in lots of unnecessary damage to many items, small and large / valuable.
Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry damage occurred on your shipment, but we are glad to hear the claims process was easy. We take your input seriously regarding packing procedures and will review our processes for potential improvements. We wish you well on your new endeavors overseas!
Laser International Moving Company – Avoid by all means!!! We were located in the Chicago land area and hired this firm for their good reviews online. Our relocation was from Chicago to Turkey. From start to finish all went wrong thanks to this firm. In short, the list of items I captured during this unfortunate journey: - Their first partner in Turkey provided us wrong information caused us losing our right to bring good in the future without paying customs fee.
Thank you for your review. We agree your shipment was delayed by the steamship line due to current market conditions – which is very unfortunate. However, we did explain the possibility of this occurring (as we do with all of our clients) and have a detailed quote that you signed stating you agreed…
I really cannot recommend this company. We used them in 2021 to move overseas and had to put in a damage claim for $11k in lost and damaged property. Stupid me, I thought I'd use them to move back because it was easy and I already had the contact in. I was given a quote last year and decided to go with them again based on the price I was given. Fast forward to this year and I scheduled a date for the move and it took the partner company an incredibly long time to come back to me with information.
Crystina, we are sorry this experience left you frustrated. We would like to provide some additional context. We are sorry you experienced damage during your previous move. Your claim was resolved with a settlement of $11,487.
I would love to give Laser International a better review since they did most of things that they said that they would. Unfortunately because of the poor customer service we received and an unprofessional (even rude at times) account manager (Sam) I can only give them two stars. Numerous attempts to receive proper customer service from this company were rebuffed. Fortunately, the guys who came to pack our things were extremely professional, hardworking, respectful, and nice.
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts about our company! We greatly appreciate your business. We are glad to hear you felt the packing crew was great. We are disappointed about your feelings regarding the customer service you received because communication with clients is of the utmost…

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
We recently relocated from the United States to Europe, and Laser International handled the international shipping of our household belongings. The entire experience was excellent. Our relocation manager, Adam Knizner, provided outstanding support throughout the process. Communication was prompt and clear, the packing was professional, and the delivery was well organized. The unpacking and furniture assembly teams were efficient, careful, and respectful of our new home.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your business!
Laser International is the moving company to rely on, especially if you are looking for professionalism and reliability. Like Ms. Lancaster mentioned the most recent review, finding a moving company that meets your needs (and budget) can be a challenge. There Look no further than Laser International! My move was from US to the Netherlands, and I had the pleasure to have Mr. Alex Buyan as the Laser International representative. He was friendly, professional, and very understanding.
Thank you! We appreciate your business!
Laser International and Ryan Specht, in particular, were amazing from start to finish! We basically moved two households (our daughter's and ours combined) from Chicago to Quintana Roo, Mexico. Moving from town to town or state to state is stressful enough but trust me making an international move is 1000 times more stressful.
Thank you, Judy! Hope all is well in Mexico!
We had the best experience with Laser International moving from New York to Vienna in March! Everything went smoothly from the first quote to the delivery in Austria. We worked with Alex Buyan who took the time to explain everything and was very patient with us. He took care of everything and helped us with the whole process. The quote was very competitive with others we received but what really stood out was the excellent service offered.
Thank you, Kerstin! We appreciate your business!
