I had the worst experience with this moving company. Not only were they two hours late, but they also made the move slower on purpose so they could charge me extra. On top of that, they ended up breaking several of my belongings during the move. When I confronted them about it, they were extremely unapologetic and refused to take any responsibility. To add insult to injury, they tacked on an extra $700 to my bill for their incompetence and in the name of extra hours. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We used Advanced Moving Storage to move from the city to the burbs and it was an awful experience. We moved on July 28th and it was very hot. We paid for an extra mover that they recommended because we wanted it done quickly. They sent the 4 men in a truck with no AC to go 55 miles when it was 100 degrees with the heat index. The quote was also off by over $800 and customer service did not pick up and we asked to speak to someone while we were moving.
Advanced Moving & Storage was the worst moving company I have ever used. First, the employees complained upon arrival that they hadn't been informed by the company that my apartment didn't have an elevator, despite this information being clearly stated in the pre-contract paperwork. The moving process took a very long time because the workers kept taking breaks.
MOVING in Schaumburg I recently used this company for two moves. The first move went smoothly, and I was very satisfied. I paid the deposit in advance and paid the remaining balance online or by phone after the move was completed. Although the crew forgot to bring a screwdriver, they returned on another day and helped me at no extra charge. The second move was disappointing.

DO NOT USE THEM! SCAM! They purposely come hours late and overbook their moving appointments so that you are forced to leave your items in their truck overnight. They will charge you for holding the items on their truck overnight and then charge you again in the morning to unload regardless of what your original agreed upon price was. The customer service is a joke. They pass you from person to person and just keep insisting that everything will be ok.
I had a very bad experience with this moving company. The movers arrived and demanded cash payment before they would start the move. When I refused to pay cash, my credit card was charged anyway, and they did not perform the moving service. I was left without the move I had booked and had to deal with disputing a charge for services I never received. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
Terrible company, terrible experience. They claimed to be able to disassemble, move and reassemble a treadmill. I provided them with the model number, pictures and instructions prior to their arrival. The movers spent an hour trying to disassemble the treadmill before giving up, leaving me to figure out alternative solutions at the last minute. Thankfully Coffey Brothers moving came through for us. Stay away from Advanced Moving and Storage.
