It was terrible. I booked them for a move, and it was a disaster. It took them 12 hours to complete my move. They charge hourly, so they took their time. It took them three hours to get from one place to the other, which normally takes 30 minutes. Traffic wasn't the reason, as I checked the travel time with GPS. For that three-hour ride, I was charged the hourly rate of $250 x 3 = $750 plus the extra 9 hours it took them to complete the moving. I was charged for 5 movers, but only 4 were there the entire time.

It's the worst moving company I've ever experienced (OVERPRICED & SLOW, & UNTIMELY). It needs to be more organized and professional. They broke numerous items and lost several pieces of my furniture. When I tried to request a resolution for all my broken furniture and missing items, The owner said he would reimburse me, so I sent him pictures with a serial number and item descriptions for all the damaged items and afterward tossed the items. Four days later, the owner said, "You shouldn't have tossed the items.

EDIT: Very disappointed to change my review, but upon a second time using their service we ran into some issues and inconveniences that were completely ignored. It is going on 3 weeks since I reached out to address the situation with no response. In the future, I'll take my business elsewhere. Original Review: Friendly, professional and effective movers. Moved our entire apartment into a storage unit and handled our items with care. Had a great experience with the team !

Edited February 2026: I've used Advanced Moving Pros three times since 2022 and left five-star reviews after each of the first two moves. I'm updating my review to reflect my most recent experience, which was significantly different. On the day of the move: the team arrived an hour late, and despite offering and confirming a third mover during their confirmation call that morning, only two arrived.

We hired Advanced Moving Pros in 2019 and had a stellar experience. They were very efficient, professional, and kind. Three weeks ago, we hired them again, and it was a disaster. Here is what happened: - They arrived three hours late, smelling like cannabis, with red eyes. It was obvious they were completely stoned.

we asked the truck to come between 9:30 and 10 am. called in the morning to confirm it was on time and Vance at Advanced Movers Pro confirmed the truck was “on schedule”. at 10:30, we get a text from the movers saying they can’t come until 2 or 3 pm… we reached out to Vance, who seemed clueless to the entire situation. instead of apologizing and trying to remedy the situation, he went on about how busy he was, how we were inconveniencing him, how we should feel bad for him, etc. totally unprofessional.

Pricing is the worst. I think the reviews are fake that says there is the remotest of value. Ultimately charged some $4,000 for a local move for my wife and I from 2 - 1 br apartments. So: GET A FIXED PRICE!!! Vance’s essential “quote” was offered sight unseen of the job, and his tease of pricing suggested its cost would have been no more than half of what he ultimately charged. Then he threatened ito not complete the move without our acquiescence to his outrageous pricing.

Move was fine but furniture wasn’t assembled properly and got damaged, reached out over the course of a month to see if anyone could come by and properly assemble the furniture and never heard back.
