Available Movers & Storage

Available Movers did not supply the services as stated in their contract (move from NJ to NYC): three men, for three hours (start time 8am, end time 11am) and the use of a moving van; along with basic disassembly and reassembly, wrapping furniture with blankets followed with taping, pack boxes, free of charge, for $125 an hour, total estimated price: $600.26. By the end of the move our furniture was put into a warehouse in the Bronx until we were forced to pay an additional $695.

If there was something less than 1 star, I would add it here. The amount of items and furniture that came damaged, dirty, and broken is indescribable. We were expecting maybe a broken TV or a few dishes, but they broke the back of our only sofa, 2 new white armchairs damaged and filthy covered in black soot and black handprints from their warehouse, a 7 foot tall mirror cracked in multiple places, all of our patio furniture destroyed, and the list actually goes on further.

Use this company at your own risk. I hope this will serve as a warning to AVOID THEM at all costs. Otherwise, you'll be paying much more than you think you will. First, they showed up over 4 hours late. They didn't finish packing until 3am. We were so embarrassed to be moving in at such an hour and exhausted. This was completely unacceptable, but they didn't even apologize or acknowledge any wrongdoing.

Absolute scam. They damaged walls taking stuff out and putting it in they damaged the items they moved they bullied me to sign papers before I could inspect the goods and the claim for compensation was denied based on my signing of above paperwork, ignoring that it was done under duress. ignore at all costs, the owners belong in jail.

Terrible!!!did not show up the time of appointment. Called the company billion times and no response. No call. No show. No courtesy call. Leave us clueless. Highly NOT recommended.

We had them booked for some time from 12-3 and they had not arrived so we called. We spoke to Jerard and he said that he just spoke to the movers and said “they will be there at 4:30”. We still called in the meantime just to make sure they were still coming and he said yes. At 5:00 we called again and then he said that no one is coming. How unprofessional and how rude. It is pouring rain and they decided to tell us this last minute.

That one star really means negative 10 stars. Worst possible move of my life. Took more than 3 days to move from a distance of 75 miles, after having a schedule of moving it the same day initially. Broke both my TVs. Did not give any claim back. Called and the dispatcher somehow turns it on me that I broke the TVs despite the actual movers actually agreeing to the fact that they broke my TVs. The "dispatcher" who is the contact person for the move was not available throughout my move.

DO NOT USE. The contract was for 4 men for up to 8 hours showed up with 3 men 2 hours late and wasted time to meet the 8 hours and did not move many items they were supposed to. My fault in a way I assumed because they were insured and all the supposed good ratings they could be trusted as I was out of state for the move out. They supposedly do international moves.
