I used affmov for my interstate move from California to Texas. I was fooled by the amount of positive reviews on here/yelp and pricing. These guys are not registered with the BBB (they have a D- rating), and they broke a majority of my stuff during my interstate move. Took me a while to actually get around to writing the review, I had so much stuff to fix.

The movers are careless and make up lies to refuse to refund damage. Check the Better Business Bureau ratings for this business, and you’ll see they ghost people after causing damage. Also, the California Secretary of State business search …

This was the most stressful and unprofessional moving service. They sent a driver who did not speak English and his helper could not speak Spanish. My husband, who speaks broken Spanish, had to translate for the two. They took almost 7 …
I've now used this moving company three times. Most recently, I moved into a new apartment on Friday, August 29th. Three Hispanic men were sent to do the job (labor only) because I was moving into a different unit in the same building. The move took approximately three hours, I tipped 20% in cash, and everything initially seemed fine. The following morning, I noticed that my Rolex watch was missing from the last place I had left it. I contacted the company on Saturday.

[We moved in October of 2021, and I did write a Yelp review but was asked to add it to Google as well. I'm doing it in hopes of saving others what we went through.] We had high hopes after reading these reviews but honestly I'm not sure where they're coming from--or maybe it was the team that moved us. Definitely NOT affordable--they are so slow that they'll take twice as much time as any other moving company.
How is this company rated so high?! DO NOT USE THEM! My roommate and I had a terrible experience with them. First - they robbed us. What should've been a quick moved ended up costing us a thousand dollars. We definitely paid them to take an hour lunch break. Slow moving doesn't mean affordable - they took their time with everything.
Hi Brian thank you for your honest review. However I don't see you in the system under your name what is it under another name? I'm trying to get to the bottom of this to see what happened this is on characteristic of a company and we definitely want to resolve any issues that may have been caused.

Alex and his team are slow and damaged my piano. They took double the amount of time as the last two different companies I used. Don’t use this company.
