I utilized this company for my most recent move. I always use movers and have NEVER had issues until using this company. Two men showed up (late) and while they were very nice, one was not experienced. In short, he put a hole in the wall and didn’t tell me. My solid wood chest of drawers was broken. My washing machine was completely broken by ONE man taking it down the stairs and banging the washer with each step. My kitchen table has new scratches on it. It was overall horrible.
We regret we did not meet you expectations, we have adjusted/repaired the washer and are repairing chest. We will try to do better.
Buyer beware. They have subpar insurance and hide important information regarding lack of damage protection in the stack of paperwork you're supposed to read & sign while movers start loading the truck. Then when damage occurs, they don't respond to emails. Actual movers were fantastic- poor management and unresponsive even for a frequent customer.
Had them scheduled for a move and they called 15 minutes, 15 minutes before arrival and canceled!! They stated it was because the weather, however I was driving when they called and the roads were drivable. We were able to find another moving company that moved my daughter later that day who were very professional and did a great job.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We pride on our on-time arrivals. Unfortunately this was an Ice day in Lubbock and safety is 1 of our main priorities. Please let us know if we can help in the future. Thanks Shannon
The two guys that helped us move were very polite. However they failed to get my couch through the front door (it took me and a friend 5 minutes to do so after removing the legs). They also did a good bit of damage to my $1500 couch. Would not recommend, you get what you pay for.

We had a great experience with this moving company. Their pricing was very fair, and the team was incredibly efficient from start to finish. The staff worked hard the entire time and handled everything with care. What stood out the most was how often they checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied and comfortable with how things were going. That level of communication and attention made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
We just received excellent service in moving furniture and boxes from a 4 suite office. The crew that assisted us were prompt and very careful with our items. Upon arrival to our next location they placed the pieces exactly where we indicated. We didn’t have to lift a finger. I will definitely contact Affordable Moving if I ever need to move homes!
Just moved from San Antonio to Lubbock and must give a huge shout out to Charles and Braydon who did an EXCEPTIONAL job of getting my furniture loaded in the pouring rain for hours! Anyone else would have been frustrated but they worked tirelessly with a smile and incredibly positive demeanor as quickly as they could. The rates are very reasonable, but those two gentlemen in particular are why I will call them if I move again.
