They were late. The damaged my belongings and took zero accountability. The they would not unload my stuff with out payment. Held at gun point. VERY Stressful. Reporting them to the BBB. Avoid them!!!
Hi Dave, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We don't have your name in our records could you please contact us to file a claim? Please call [phone removed] so we can help look into this for you.
I used this company 2 years ago. They were terrible. They took apart my furniture & did not put it back together causing me to pay an extra $150 to get someone to set up our beds. They broke a dresser that was in my family for years with no damage. They damaged our bedroom furniture, beds, coffee tables. They stacked the boxes up to the ceiling rather than in the rooms on the boxes. They had a pot break then drove & lazily moved our furniture. Requested the $100 deposit back due to their carelessness.
Worst experience ever! I booked a move for Dec 1 2022. They didnt even show up until Dec 2. They didn't wear booties or use drop sheets at all, they wore shoes in both houses in the middle of winter. They then broke my 70" LG TV and refused to cover it!!!!

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
From the first interaction with Vince was professional, helpful, and fast. I called with a storage to storage move from Grande Prairie to Sylvan Lake Ab, was quoted a fair price in comparison to a couple different movers I called. Vince took extra time out to accommodate the best pricing since it was a 600km move. Everything was on time , communicated the entire process with me , and made the time agreed upon getting to Sylvan.
On short notice we contacted Alberta Strong Movers. The crew we had lined up could no longer come . They worked us into their already busy schedule . They set us up with a 2 man crew to move items from garage and 20 foot sea can into our home . Since hardwood floors upstairs had just recently been refinished only certain items could be placed on them so a lot of the items had to be taken downstairs. Hans and Regan were amazing They looked at large task before them and just went to work.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Cheryl! We're thrilled to hear that Hans and Regan were able to step in on short notice and make your move such a success. It’s great to know they handled everything with care and professionalism.
Could not be happier with the service and price of Alberta Strong Movers! They arrived on time to a rural destination and got straight to work. I had Inan and Gureep as my movers. They worked through and loaded the truck without taking any breaks. Literally loaded a big garage, main floor, basement and shed within 3 hours. Every fragile piece was identified beforehand and then wrapped in blanlets before it got moved. Everything arrived at the new place without anything breaking.
Thank you so much, Rick Busse! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that you could not be happier with the service and price of Alberta Strong Movers for your move near Edmonton! Inan and Gurdeep are rockstars!
