I would not recommend this moving service to any colleagues, friends, or family. Although Amna was fantastic to deal with for an ergonomic bed, dresser, nightstand, 14 boxes, a couple book shelves and ladders I had made this so easy for the crew putting everything into one room. I was quoted for $648.22 which i was fine with that included travel and everything else. I was told between 6-9pm my move could be completed the movers didnt show up until 650 and only had 1 dresser wrapped and loaded by 710pm.
We hired YEG movers as we got a flyer in our mail. The scheduling process was great and easy. The movers were nice enough however… we were charged more than double the estimate, the movers put a box labelled fragile on the bottom of several heavy boxes resulting in a leak in the item in the box which the movers pointed out with no apology and did not seem to care, they got stuck in the elevator at our new place which the elevator tech said was their fault then they tried to charge us for the hour they were stuck…

I have a pod that was packed & stored. The service has not been great. My pods was moved storage locations without notice. I found out when I phoned to make a time to access my pod. You must book at least 24hrs in advance to access your pod. And then when I booked a day for my pod to be delivered. I had to wait over a week for it. Then they didn’t even show up with my pod. The guys had to go find my pod & then bring it. Then they left it but with no key to access it. So had to have the key dropped off another day.

We had a bad experienced! We told all the information they needed, most of our house stuffs already packed execpt, one couch,queensize bed,crib and dressers and they quoted us 2hrs only for almost 500CAd. We hired them because we thought we had a good deal. The 2hrs estimated turn into 8hrs and they charged us 2,000CAD lol. The distance of our new place from the old one is only 8mins away. We put label on the boxes but they still didn't put on the right place. In 8hrs of working the couch is not done 🤬

Scam Company nearly every item is damaged or broken and lied about price quoted 1000$ actually 4000$ They make you sign a contract that you aren’t allowed to reviews less than 5 stars according to the DOJ of Canada this violates the charters of rights and freedoms

The phone consult was great. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. They set up an appointment to walk through and never showed or attempted contact again.

Read the contract. Any company not allowing to post review should not be dealt with. Overpricing is also a big issue with this company. Check them out before signing anything.

I had a commercial move with the Yeg Movers, one truck and two movers. The movers arrived on time and communicated well throughout the move. They were very polite and professional, very mindful not to cause damage to the items being moved or the existing space. They were very knowledgeable about how to move things around (the equipments were very heavy) and came equipped with the proper tools to get the job done. Also very efficient in the use of the allocated time frame of 3 hours.
YEG Edmonton Movers (Specifically the team of Sydney, Harmandeep and Ajit) helped my mom and her friend move from 2 separate apartments into 1 at a new location. They arrived on time, reviewed the spaces, then worked swiftly and efficiently to move both of them. They packed random objects into boxes where appropriate to make it smoother, laid down mats to protect floors and efficiently and effectively wrapped things to protect them when needed.
