Moving Company Review: All Awesome Movers Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I recently hired All Awesome Movers for my move, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite thorough pre-move communication, the actual service was far below expectations. Initial Quote and Communication: When I called for a quote, I was assured of a 32ft truck, an 8-hour move, no charge for travel time, and a total cost of approximately $1300.
Hi Katie, We spoke after your move and I offered to have the stains removed. You declined. When you called about your move I offered to do a virtual but you never … More
I’ve moved a lot while in the military, and I chose this company based off of reviews and their upfront pricing. I’m sorry to say that our experience was anything but “awesome.” We moved from NoVA to Richmond, and as we’ve unboxed things, we’re still finding things missing (one lamp shade, a full table lamp, king size pillows). This makes me wonder what else could be missing that we don’t even know about.
Soooo disappointed!! I hired this company years back but this move was the worse...I don't understand what happened. First the team called to ask if I would pay extra for an extra man which would help finish sooner but showed up with a u-haul small truck to move a three bedroom townhouse while complaining about how many steps they had to take to move my stuff. I thought I hired movers....movers walk...it took forever.
Thank you so much. We really appreciate your business
UNPROFESSIONAL! Watch the movers in your house at all times. One of the movers literally rambled in every closed door and room in my new construction home and had a bowel movement. There was not any soap in the bathroom! It was so disgusting! I informed the company and it was clear, the were unbothered and didn't even have the courtesy to apologize.
I had a contract with this company to be at my daughters house on Oct 1 2106. The contract stated that they should be there between 8 and 9 am. Well, if you want a company that just doesn't show up --then hire this company. …

In their own words
A friend recommended this company after a positive experience with them for her move. I’m so glad I went with them! They did a wonderful job moving all my things from one apartment to another. They arrived on time, worked quickly and carefully, and disassembled/reassembled my furniture. Their pricing is very reasonable. I was scheduled to move days after a predicted snowstorm and they were accommodating and able to bump the date up so it could happen before the storm hit.
Thank you Alisha
We have used All Awesome Movers for both large house moves and several small moves. They are very responsive and always provided accurate up front pricing. They wrapped everything to make sure there were no scratches and took extra care with intricate items such as the grandfather clock and pin ball machine. The movers are consistently professional and courteous. We have been very happy with their service.
Thank you Jean
We started off with a rough morning. My boyfriend and I were scheduled to move today and they other company we booked with canceled us well after the time they said they would be there. We were panicking because we needed to move today. All Awesome movers made it happen. Sam got together 3 amazing movers who took the time and care to make sure our move was handled the same time. They were extremely efficient, thorough, and the price is super reasonable.
The folks at All Awesome Movers were exceptionally professional and personable. The folks helping us pack and unload were very patient with us when we were directing them about what to pack and where to put things in our new home. They were great! Plus, whenever I would call their office, they would recognize my name and address me with my first name! These days, that level of service is wonderful!!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Be smart and hire these folks for your moving projects!
