All My Sons Moving & Storage

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Originally were supposed to have 4 guys but got sent 3 and it was “their top crew” they let me know when they were finished loading the truck and they couldn’t get 2 items. After the move I went back to get the 2 items. There was a whole bunch of items left behind including missing parts to the baby crib. When they were unloading the truck they destroyed multiple trim pieces and drywall and our couch and our washer.

Unprofessional and incompetent. Showed up extremely late and initially went to a house when I spoke with the company and movers beforehand about it being an apartment complex. Came without any tools when I spoke previously about whether …

I wasn’t going to leave anything, but decided to incase it helps others decide. DO NOT use the Birmingham location to pack a PODS or such storage. I had 2 separate groups come 2 separate days. First group was in such a hurry to leave, the truck was started and they were ready to have me sign. I was completely lost and confused. I asked to have my garage packed up. They did not even touch it. My fault, I should have said something to them. But they were already loaded and ready to go.

These guys tried to scam us and called the police on us as well. We were scheduled to move on Sunday 4/13 and they assured us the whole day that they were coming until it got dark and admitted that they won't make it until the next day. They finally showed up at around 5 and got to the new place around 8. When they showed the bill, it magically changed to pay per hour vs pay per pound. According to Alabama regulations, moves over 30 miles has to be per pound instead of an hourly rate.

Shawn, Trey & Trent were prompt, professional and timely. Great job and affordable price compared to other moving companies. Update: August 10, 2024. Used the same company for another move today and it was the worst. My review has gotten over 100 views and I am sorry to have to update with photos of my most recent experience. Broken furniture/glass, damaged walls and this crew leaves with furniture in the lawn. Paid upfront for what was estimated to be about a 5 hour job.

The worst moving experience of my life. They took forever, movers on the phone constantly. Stopped for McDonald's during the move and charged me for their time. They didn't put heavy items where I told them and literally dumped my belongings in my new house without setting them up. Buyer Beware. They used three movers and it took eight hours for a smaller house move. Two and a half men moved me into the old house with same furniture and belongings in four hours at a cheaper rate.

Do not use! Broke numerous items including a 12k bed. Reached out to my contact and have yet to hear back. Was supposed to have 7 guys ended up with 5. Took over 12 hours to move furniture. Scratched walls, floors, in brand new home! Scratched beds. Put nothing down on floors to protect or in door way, hall ways. Just stay away from this company if you have nice things to move. Also broke a 75 inch Samsung tv new in box.

Worst moving experience ever. You pay by the hour for guys to sit on their phone and goof around while moving your furniture. Before your furniture is delivered they make you pay a full amount with an estimated finish time. (+2 hours) @ $149/hr. Absolutely insane. Oh and if you are lucky they won’t dent/scratch/or break your furniture! Stay away from this moving company. They will turn a $300 Job into a $900 job very quickly.
