All My Sons Moving & Storage

All My Sons Moving did not do a good job on the moving of our furniture, they broke a leg completely off an expensive vanity table which could not be repaired, the company showed up late were very rushed and under manned for the move, when the broken leg was discovered, the item was still on their truck I had the movers call their supervisor and report it. I paid the extra fee for mishap of broken furniture, the movers stated we would be contacted by customer service to take care of the issue.

If I could give negative stars, I honestly would. We moved back in February and we moved into a third party storage unit. I wanted to make sure our things were protected so I purchased the insurance after being told I could file up to 30 days by one of the movers during the move when I was going to check a few things and he let me know this. Great, it was late and figured I could check out what I wanted to in a few days but little did I know I was deceived.

UPDATE: Reached out to Customer Service - No Response 10+ days later.... They posted that just to look good to the public. Overpriced for the level of service. Customer Service also ghosted me about damage in my new home. Starting off on the phone they hook you with such an easy move, our movers can do it all! 8am - 2/3 movers show up, they aren’t even all there at start of billing. During the loading phase, I see 1/3 movers on his phone numerous times.

Beware! They quoted my girlfriend and I $450 to move a few furniture items and just a few boxes from her apartment to my house (about a 5 minute drive), including a $100 deposit. Next thing I know they are charging me $775! I get there are additional expenses here and there, but another $300+?! I've seen other reviews on here saying similar things. If they give you a quote, expect to pay A LOT more than what they say.

It was good, guys worked hard. I can’t believe they made it up the stairs with the dresser. They banged up our walls in some places and now we have to fill in the big holes and repaint those areas. One of the guys car had ran out of gas and he came back for help, not a problem at all. What we didn’t appreciate was that he told us that his boss, the owner, told him that WE (my husband and I- the customer as he said) complained that he wasn’t working or he would go missing. Which is a complete lie and not the case.

MOVER BEWARE! Any estimate that they give you, plan on paying 3X as much. For a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bed, 1 couch, and 1 leather chair, they all estimated that it would take 2-3 hours. Even the movers, when they showed up, figured it would be 3 hours max for the entire move. 6 hours later they are finally packed into their truck. What they don't tell you, is that anything going into their truck has to be wrapped or boxed. That added time and of course the expense of the wrapping is what THEY DO NOT TELL YOU.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Find a more honest group of people to do business with. I was moving a one-bedroom apartment less than one mile up the road, and my 68-year-old Father and Autistic nephew were the only people who were available to help me. The two of them moved 90% of my items, including taking the bed apart and putting it back together. I called this company to have them help with some large items (couch, mattress, table).

The good, the bad, the ugly. The good. The employees are nice. I had three movers who were likely late teen early 20’s. The bad: The movers were small in stature. This made it very difficult to get the job done. I ended up moving most of the items myself (why hire a mover?). You are billed by the hour. This is not a problem. The problem is no managers. I found the teenage kids sitting and texting 50% of the time.
