This is the worst company in Utah for moving you. The broke our grandfather clock and held it until they tried to get my wife sign a letter saying she would not post a bad review. They also were hired because they said they could move our safe, when they got there they told her that they could not move the safe, so another company was hired to do that at $400 on top the the doubled price that quoted for moving us around the corner. They broke many other items and didn’t even seem to care.
NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR If I could give less than one star I would. Not only for the terrible experience, but the complete lack of response from management to recognize and try in someway to make it right. Due to the incompetence and general lack of care from the movers, the move took over double the time I had allotted. This generate a bill of $1000 from Best of Utah MOVING COMPANY. To fix all the errors made by the movers, I had to spend an additional $900.

I HAD MANY ITEMS STOLEN! PREMIUM PRICE FOR POOR SERVICE. I'm surprised to see all of the positive reviews because our experience was anything but good. - BID: Only do a guaranteed bid with them. Actual price was $5k over bid and higher than any guaranteed bid we got. ONLY USE IF IT IS A GUARANTEED BID. THEY EITHER CAN'T ESTIMATE OR GO LOW TO GET BUSINESS. and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! - CREW: They did not provide the crew numbers (not to mention quality) we were promised yet we paid well over quote.

These guys said they could get me a free quote online well they decided they needed to call me instead and then when I told them I was looking to rent a truck to move he said "you got the wrong company" and hung up on me with no more explanation. Very rude and tried to get personal information that wasn't relevant at all.
Hi Mikayla, we're sorry for the frustration you experienced. We’re a full-service moving company and don’t rent trucks, so it sounds like there may have been a mix-up with a truck rental provider.
I don’t usually do this, but for a company that first tells you to read the reviews online I feel I should. This would be 1 Star but I feel for the movers so I’ll give 2. We moved towards the middle of July so it’s been a few weeks. Let’s just say it was not a good experience. What should have taken maybe 3 1/2 to 4 hours took almost 8. Paying double what we budgeted for, And we still didn’t get everything moved over.

In brief, our experience with Best of Utah was that they are an amateur operation, poorly managed and executed, without proper tools, staffing, or time management. Rather than use the necessary equipment and rely on experienced workers, it appears their model is to throw as many young bodies at a job as possible. Though we cannot confirm this with 100% accuracy, our move appeared to be staffed mainly by college students working summer jobs.

I really have NO idea where these guys got the false reviews on here. I have never felt more cheated in my life. We trusted this company to move our stuff across country... For 13k here is the service you get: -They hand picked items from our house and stole them: Our Apple TV, All of our tools, my sons hoverboard, our comforter to our bed AND our Drone we just got! We still have yet to receive a reply regarding stolen items. Seeking legal representation now.

Guess these guys should stay in Utah where everyone loves them. Got a flyer in Vegas and thought we would try them out. They showed up late, 4 guys, wondered around for 45 mins. I have EVERYTHING from the garage in the driveway and was asked 3 different times if there was more that needed to be loaded. Scratched most of the wood furniture. 1 guy carried an end table upside down dropping items along the way.

Landon was the first person I spoke with. He took time with me and asked very good questions to provide an accurate estimate of charges. He let me know that I should book the move 2-3 weeks out and update as we knew when our house sold, so we would be able to move into our new house on the day we wanted. UPDATED APRIL 2026: Ethan and Aaron did awesome today. They came to wrap up the last bit of my things from the property. They went above and beyond. UPDATED AUGUST 2025: Third time with Best of Utah…this time over state lines! This has been the most painless move yet, as I also asked for their help packing. Quick, professional, seamless.
