All My Sons Moving & Storage

I would give this company zero stars if I could. My experience was not just disappointing — it was completely unacceptable, and I feel obligated to warn others. I scheduled my move over a month in advance for a very small, one-bedroom basement apartment. I was quoted approximately 3 hours of labor, which would’ve come out to around $650. I even confirmed this on the phone so I could budget accordingly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible experience from beginning to end. If you read any review, READ THIS ONE. We scheduled our move for Sunday and were told we’d be the first move of the day, so the crew would arrive early. The night before, we were told the truck broke down and our move was moved to 1 PM. Inconvenient, but we tried to be understanding. Then 1 PM passed with no update. We called again and were told it would be closer to 3 PM because they were finishing another move.

I had a really disappointing experience with All My Sons moving company. The original quote I received—and what I saw online—was about half of what I ended up being charged. That alone was frustrating, but things only got worse from there. At the start, everything seemed fine. However, about 45 minutes into the move, I got a call from their supervisor and the whole experience went downhill. I later realized I was being charged for a trainee who was learning how to wrap and move furniture.

Sandra and her crew out of SLC did a great job packing and loading my items. Her team went the extra mile to make sure things were packed safely and quickly. I would definitely use her crew again. Updated to 1 star as several thousand dollars worth of my items arrived damaged and AMS would not pay for the damage despite additional insurance being bought through them. I would not use them again.

I wish there was an option of less than 1 star. Worst business i have seen in my life. Try anyone, but stay away from All My Sons Moving & Storage. They completely stood me up last minute. Based on their Google ratings, I honestly think those 5-star reviews are questionable. Maybe they were good at one point, but my experience was terrible. On moving day, they called me at 11:30 AM saying they were sending the crew right away. I told them my appointment was at 2:30 PM.

I would not recommend this company. We scheduled a simple move/unload yesterday for today. All the furniture is here in the truck already. Was originally given a 9a-12p appointment range and was told we’d be contacted back from operations to confirm. Gave the deposit, but received no call. Then we called a couple hours later and they said “I don’t know why they would give you that appointment time-it’s not available. We have 12-3pm tomorrow.” Skeptical, and annoyed, we agreed.

Absolutely Disgusted – Stay Far Away! If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is the definition of unprofessional and unethical. I was moving under the WAV (Women Against Violence) Act for my safety, and I made that crystal clear to them upfront. Despite this, they showed zero respect, empathy, or decency.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I used You Move Me instead. Here's why: I've used all my sons in the past with no complaints. This past weekend, though, was my third time moving with them. I scheduled my move a month in advance and put down a deposit. Moving day and came my movers didn't show up. An hour passed before I decided to call the company to check in. I got the call center in Dallas, not their local branch that scheduled me originally. The trainee wasn't much help but I was called back by a manager, Josh.
