Two Men and a Truck Moving

THIEVES, CARELESS, UNPROFESIONAL ABUNCH OF CROOKS DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR PERSONAQL BELONGINGS. starting with the 2nd move out of 3 times here's my review. 2nd move, The stole my 22karat bracelet/anklet value of 3k, (the night before they kept getting caught on furniture so i placed in the top draw of my nightstand) they said to unpack all the boxes and check, i checked multiple times and still not there. i was told, my guys aren't thieves, and was assuming that i was lying.

I was in a pinch. I had a piano to move and needed it that day. I called 4 movers in the area of the 4, 2 could get me in that day. I decided to go with Two Men for 2 reasons. 1. Timeframe 2. Cost. Which is unfortunate because 1. they called to say they were coming 20 minutes after the end of the 4 hour window. 2. They charged me more than quoted. So this made it void. Worse yet, the 2 men could not handle it & my husband had to move it w/ them both p/u & delivery. I paid to keep him from having to do this.

Last move I requested small truck and they sent tractor trailer for 1 bedroom apartment. 3x this move I requested smallest truck 20 ft or less and they showed up late with a 36+ truck. I canceled it

I have no words. I have moved a lot of the last two years. I think this was my fifth move. This move was actually the easiest. I only had one couch, one mattress, one chair, one desk and eight boxes. The men came to my house and had no tools so they did not remove the doors to my house to get stuff in the front door nor did they remove the legs on the sofa. I was in my office in work meetings and not paying attention until I get a knock on my door from the mover telling me that when I come out I won’t be happy.

They were... Fine. Ish. But when they're charging twice as much as other movers, I expect excellence. There were 2 major issues... 1) they significantly under estimated the packing services for our kitchen and didn't complete the small scope of work in an entire afternoon. This was at least partly due to sending 2 very new employees who certainly worked consistently, but not with any fluidity/speed that I've seen before with professional packers.

If you value your items being cared for or any amount of customer service and honesty, then take your business elsewhere. Please do yourself a favor and hire any other moving company. They broke a very expensive item and are refusing to cover the damages, even though is it required by Utah State law. Now we are having to file a complaint with the Department of Transportation and Consumer Protection Division, all because they simply won't make right on an item that they broke.

We had used them a year ago and found the service fast and efficient, so I didn’t hesitate to use them for our most recent move. Our experience this time around, however, was horrible. Two of the movers kept sneaking away to the truck for a smoke break. Josh was excellent and appeared very frustrated and kept apologizing for his two coworkers. They were slow and seemed to lack any motivation in getting the job done quickly and efficiently.

Update: The response is a complete lie: "We do try to be transparent with our customers when they are receiving an estimate with our sales team and let you know that if items are added on after the original estimate, it may cause your move to go longer and more truck space to be utilized" No additional items were added on. The surveyor saw everything messed up, simply that. Yes, people make mistakes, but that is not the issue.
