⚠️ Extensive Damage, Blame-Shifting, and No Accountability ⚠️ ATTENTION Professional Organizers and Move Managers: We used to refer this company to clients. Never again. We hired College Hunks Hauling Junk (Frederick) for a local apartment-to-apartment move, and it turned into one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. What should have been a 5-hour move took over 8 hours, with the final cost nearly triple the original quote.

I called to have furniture disassembled and then reassembled in different rooms in my house as well as put together other pieces of furniture. I was quoted for 2 hours and was told it would be super quick and was made aware of the 2hr minimum requirement. The person on the phone assured me that it wouldnt take that long and that I could have them do other tasks to makeup for the timing. We've had this furniture put together before in less than an hour with a moving company. I was quoted a 2hr window of arrival.

Absolutely Terrible Experience. As a prior military family, we’ve gone through many moves over the years and have dealt with numerous of incredible moving companies. This company, was the worst experience we’ve ever had. From the moment they arrived, the lack of care was obvious. They didn’t bother wearing shoe covers, tracking dirt across our freshly cleaned carpets without a second thought. They chipped and scratched our walls so badly, it looked like a group of amateurs had come through.

These guys are either deleting or suppressing negative reviews to make themselves look good, avoid them at all costs. If I could give less than one star I would. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this company to the best of your ability. During my move they damaged a bunch of my stuff, including my $1300 gaming chair. Plastic totes were broken, boxes torn or even ripped open and even my treadmill won't even turn on anymore.

We recently finished a full home clean out and had a lot, and I mean A LOT, of items to throw away. We looked at two different removal services and decided to go with College Hunks because their online scheduling was easy, lots of times available (we needed a weekend) and the prices were clear online. The day of removal, we gathered everything on the side of our hone, except for a dryer and recliner indoors.
