All My Sons Moving & Storage

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY – Save yourself the nightmare we went through! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with any service company. I called ahead to explain that we were moving from a 2,000 sq. ft. home about 30 minutes away. I was told confidently that they could handle the job with one large truck and four movers, and that it would be “absurd” if the move took more than 7 hours. Based on that, I booked an 8-hour window. The reality? A complete disaster.

If i could leave zero stars i would. First of all our moving team was great. They were efficient, respectful, and took excellent care of our furniture. The office is absolutely horrible though. I was told we were their second stop for the day and the movers would arrive in the afternoon. That morning i drove over to our new place and began unpacking. I was planning to be back home by 11 so we could unhook the washer and dryer, remove bed sheets, breakdown our couch and be ready for the movers arrival.

The worst experience of my life. People talk about Third world countries as placea where you get robbed by bad people. Well I got robbed, abused, felt threaten, and hostage by this company, particularly by the worker named Wyatt Dailey. I stupidly submitted my information for a quote in the website. DON’T DO THAT!!! They don’t leave you alone. I have all the calls to prove it. Even after I told them that I would give them a call back, I should have know better. My “quote” of $504 turned into $975 dollars.

DO NOT USE!!!!!! First, the two guys who showed up for the first day were great. My rating and comments are about the poor management, lack of reliability, horrible communication, and the useless phone number for help. I scheduled a relatively simple move from a house in Georgetown to an apartment in Lexington about 15 miles away for June 16th. The primary need and only difficult item was to move an upright piano from the house to another house 5 miles away.

Edit I have spoken with Heather from all my sons moving corporate customer care team.If my interaction with the rest of the company would have been as respectful and productive as heather was this would not have been a 1 star review. The owner of this franchise is a sexist jerk. Not only does he have a “god complex”, he has the worst business attitude. He treats customers so poorly. We were not quoted properly by his staff and he had the audacity to blame us for his incompetence. The two movers were seriously the greatest humans and this review is not in reflection of them. Wonder why movers get a bad rep? Because they work for people like the “owner” of this establishment.

I'm giving two stars out of grace here. The moving team was friendly. They were also flirting with the girls walking by in the neighborhood that we were moving into. Enough that they weren't paying attention and broke several thousand dollars worth of furniture and electronics. They also took about 5 hours longer than they quoted, probably because they spent the first 3 hours not loading the truck.

We have had a quite a few moves over the years including coast-to coast with no real issues. All My Sons moving showed-up and that’s about the only thing that went well with this move. We had 2 trucks reserved.. and prior to the move we did a FaceTime walk-through of the house. We’ve done this before, no problem. The estimator shorted the packing time by at least 10 hours (it did not help that they were short handed and with little to no experience.) They were short people, boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap.
