If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. We were quoted $199/hour for what was described as a very simple move estimated at 2–3 hours ($400–$600 total). Instead, the final cost came out to $1,100 with no clear justification. MILITARY FAMILIES BEWARE We paid over $6k to PCS our family from VA to FL. We also paid over $300 for the extra insurance protection the company offers. They broke our coffee table the day of loading (our house was already packed for them) and they remedied this immediately. We were pleased until we arrived in Florida and the truck was opened. Our boxes were crushed, clearly thrown in without care. Most of our furniture was broken.
The moving crew was awesome. However, communication was poor. Was given an 8am to 9:30am window and crew didnt arrive until 6pm! I had to keep calling to get updates and was promised a call back several times and it never happened. And i ordered the kitchen pack and the crew did not have the materials so i did not get the service i ordered. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

I really appreciated that phone call.* I had a very bad experience. Booked back in February 2026 for a move in June 2026. The arrival time was supposed to be between 8-9:30am with them calling within 30 minutes of arrival.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. When I called for a quote, I was told the rate would be $215 per hour, including travel time. Since I only needed a handful of items moved (not an entire apartment or house) and it was a local move, this seemed like a fair price and the main reason I chose this company over others with 3–4 hour minimums. The day before the move, I received a confirmation call and was informed there was actually a 2 hour minimum plus one hour of travel time.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with All My Sons Moving in Norfolk Virginia. They damaged my brand-new couch, scraped up my walls, and left marks all over my stairs. This is a brand-new house, and now I’m the one stuck paying for repairs. What makes this even more frustrating is that I’m active-duty military and haven’t been getting paid due to ongoing issues, yet now I’m expected to cover additional repair costs because of their carelessness.

This was supposed to be the easiest move in America. I am just moving one building to another and this company is the absolute worst. I promise I will never use them again! They broke my new bed frame. I am having to come out extra to fix it. I saw them drag my bed across the nasty floor. What!! I am two seconds from exploding!!! I am so mad I can spit fire!! From the very first communication through to the placement of the last item in our new home, the experience was top notch. Pricing was very fair and reasonable and all explained up front. The salespeople were very accommodating of our add ons and special requests. Jamel and Dion, our movers, were on time, polite, neat, careful; they thoroughly explained the process and asked questions as needed. Everything arrived safely and on time. I have been using All My Sons Moving & Storage since my daughter’s freshman year of college, and now here we are moving her in for her senior year! That alone speaks to the trust and confidence I have had in this company over the years. This year, we had Eric and Deron helping us, and they were wonderful. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and handled my daughter’s belongings with care. They made the entire move back into her dorm go smoothly and took so much of the stress out of an already busy day.

Crew was able to come earlier in the day than originally anticipated which made everything SOOOO much an easier! They did a great job of carefully moving my belongings and arranged them at my new place by room so I could easily unpack. They were very neat and made sure to pick up everything at the end of the delivery. Definitely made a very stressful moving day much more relaxed. Entire crew was kind and very nice to chat with as they were working. Definitely recommend 10/10.
