Do NOT use this company! Everything about this move was unprofessional and careless. Truck broke down on day of move. Furniture was wrapped at my home but arrived unwrapped and damaged. Delivery did not arrive in contract timeframe. See photo of how my truck arrived for a long distance move. Allied has not provided reimbursement acceptable to cover my losses. Driver stated it was the worst warehouse he has seen. I’m now trying to ship my lost boxes that customers are finding in their move.
Julie, we are truly sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you faced during your move. Your concerns regarding the truck breakdown, damaged furniture, and delays are valid, and we understand how frustrating this situation must be for you.
Sorry but our experience was absolutely horrible and would never recommend this company to anyone. Had to use them as it was booked/ paid for by my employer. Felt my coordinator was a poor communicator and when I said we could start move literally any time, she should have been more clear that it could take 2-4 weeks for our belongings to arrive!
Dena Krishnan, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. Falling short of meeting your expectations is not to the standards we strive to achieve, and we humbly ask for the opportunity to make this right.
This company was the absolute WORST!! They turn up with the "we do what we want" attitude. Tried to be kind, asking how they were etc and the "inspector" just answers by rolling her eyes. That was just to survey what they needed to do. Then the day they arrived, I had collapsed on my kitchen floor before their arrival, completely unconscious. Apparently, I was lying there for and hour, so when I came too, my body was sore, head pounding, and was in a haze of confusion.

The military booked this company for my family & I for our PCS. We make it to our destination and as I'm unpacking my personal items I notice 3 of my most expensive perfumes missing. I call to make a claim & report and nobody answers. Stay away from this packing company. The lady who helped me brought what seemed like her daughter, who was very rude. They both argued twice about how the younger one "didn't wanna do this anymore".
Ms. Ramirez, we apologize for your missing items and the experience you had with our pack team. As we mentioned on the phone with this being a military move there is a certain process that must be followed to file a claim.
If I could give them a negative number I would. My husband and I recently moved and they lost some of our stuff. Most of it wasn’t too bad except, they lost my dead mothers things, and these are the only things I have to remember her by. I have called them multiple times but they somehow cannot seems to find it. They keep saying they have to email people and that they will call me back, not once have they called me back. I will now have nothing of my mothers to remember her by.

Mary Phillippi was extremely rude and uninformative when asked questions regarding our move. When asked to speak to someone who does know the answer to basic moving questions, she raised her voice and transferred me before I could even finish my sentence. I would expect this disrespectful behavior by someone in a younger age bracket. Guess class doesn’t come with age. Mary Phillippi should not have a job with Dunmar Moving.

The overall moving experience was top notch for us. Bevol was very professional. He had teams in place at both ends that were hard working and courteous. All items that the teams packed for us were well wrapped and protected and arrived intact. None of our boxes were crushed in transit. Bevol was attentive to our concerns yet efficient and expeditious. It was raining when they delivered our stuff but Bevol and his crew were not deterred.

Moving Cross Country from VA to AZ and the experience so far has been amazing!! Allied Driver Lionel met local moving crew at our house for first stop to pickup and load! After a very long day for all, they arrived bright and early the next morning at our second stop, the Storage Unit. They were ALL prompt, professional and extremely careful with our belongings. Allied pricing was very competitive with other major moving companies.

I dealt with several of Dunmars employees but Britt actually made the determination of what my best course of action would be. These guys took very good care of me when I moved. I communicated with several movers. They came out to give me an estimate on my job in a timely manner and their price was the best I found. I had some very heavy items to move but they took care of all my needs. I was also impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the actual movers.
Dunmar Moving just completed a move for my wife and I from Virginia to Florida. They did a fantastic job in all phases of this move. From the initial contact from Marion who started the process, to the packers who managed all phases of the move out experience, the delivery driver Mario and his team, who not only arrived on time, but arrived early, they all did a fantastic job. This move went as smoothly as it did directly due to the efforts, and professionalism of Kathy.
