All My Sons Moving & Storage

I have no stars for this moving company. Bur u have to use at least one to post a review 🙄The entire experience was horrendous when I initially booked this service and pay my deposit. The receptionist was friendly and I was confident that I was going to get exactly what I asked for which was a three man moving team to move me from a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment.

Customer service is not a priority for this company AT ALL!! I would have given no stars if I could. Worst customer service I've experienced. The wait time on the phone to speak with someone is ridiculous. 30 minutes and upward. We had a small office move. The first scheduled move issue was on us , had some issues with bldg management, but the 2nd scheduled move was all on them and horrible. We were told we were the 2nd move of the day and that the team was moving a 3 bedroom home.

Please beware that if you use this company , you are taking a risk of them ruining your furniture and they will not make it right. I got a quote for two pieces of furniture that they scratched up bad and it was quoted at $1,200 .00 to restore. That is more than the move. They only moved us 12 minutes away and ruined our hutch, our china cabinet, the mirror to my dresser is all chipped and the walls are scratched and or have holes in them. How they have a 4.6 star rating , is beyond me.

Total scam! Never recommended! Not professional movers, Not efficient at all, false promise, changing their words; first Josh said he will send two men, $99/hr, but one day before the moving date, he said that he will send three men, $144(?)/hr, and will take less time. To make it short, this company finally charged us almost $1,500 (7 hour) for 15 miles away local moving from 3 room apt(6 month temporary stay) to a single home. Previously 6 month ago, moving the same amount of stuff was completed in three hours.

I confirmed with 3 different people that I was only looking for help for less than 10 items and was only interested in an hour of labor. The movers were not informed and expected to be working a minimum of 2 hours. Keith was kind over the phone, but their staff expected me to pay hundreds more than the original quoted price of $302. After 45 minutes of panic on the phone, they only required that I pay $50 extra for the day.

Spoke with Amy, which is suppose to be a regional manager, has horrible customer service skills advised us that the booking schedule changes daily. Deposit was made and a date was set for Tuesday, she made a phone call the same day to advise it wasn’t available and Saturday would be the move date, which was left by voicemail. Called back that evening to inquire why that was speaking to a call center person that couldn’t give an answer to why since it was the weekend.

I would not recommend All My Sons Moving & Storage to anyone. This was one of the worst service experiences I've had. The crew arrived 90 minutes outside the agreed window with no meaningful explanation. Once the truck finally pulled up, things went downhill fast. The helper was acting erratically and visibly impaired. While I was trying to get the move started, he went to the bathroom and then came outside, laid down on the sidewalk, and started scrolling on his phone. The driver was smoking outside my garage.
