All My Sons Moving & Storage

The guys worked hard but repacked smaller boxes into bigger boxes & put my bags of clothes (that the company already said were ok) into wardrobe boxes. Obviously there was extra cost for materials but in my opinion they used things that were not necessary & ignored my emails about it. $87 for 3 wardrobe boxes was not at all in my budget as I had no intention of needing them. If you own nice stuff they're great. If you own stuff you just want moved they are very expensive.

Hired All My Sons to move our household to temporary storage units, while we fixed up the house we purchased. 3 trucks 8 men moved us to 2 storage units. We called and had the company bring us 1 full unit and half of the other as that was all we could handle and it was agreeded we would call them for the rest of the units as soon as we could handle it. The first 8 men where fantastic or so we thought until we stated taking the paper and tape off our furniture.

**edit** When I called back they offered to move me on Monday (I have to be out TODAY) and could only give me $100 off, then left me on hold for over an hour so I booked a U-Haul. I had to hang up and call back to cancel with another rep because they never took me off hold. They probably would have kept my deposit if I didn't call.

I previously used this company and had such a great experience, I hired them again for my recent move. The Movers were friendly. My issue was with scheduling and a missing, box, with over $700 in valuable items. I never got an email confirming my scheduled move. 2 days before the date, I called in, and had to repeat all of my information as if they were setting up the move for the first time, which included the correct spelling of my full name and email address.

Broke off a number of big branches on my tree in front yard with huge oversize truck and clearly thought it would be ok to block my driveway. Photo only shows what was on the truck not what all was on the street. Threw the big branches in my front lawn and left all the smaller ones on the street. Offered a phone number and I backed up when he was coming too close to maintain six feet social distance so driver stomped off and said I could look it up online.

I was very clear about what I did and did not need them to do. No packing. Just moving some heavy items my husband and I weren't able to physically moved. I did not need them to move me, just load my trailer. The two men who came out thought they were there to pack up my house, load their moving van, and move us. Not even close to what I said when I hired the company. I told them I needed a lift gate. They said they already had the lift gate scheduled on another move but would bring it out when it was available.

Unfortunately we paid for the “extra” damage coverage and when the companies employee tried to move our $5000 Beauty rest Black king size pillow top mattress up a flight of stairs by himself resulting in a non repairable tear along the edge of the mattress. The moving foreman took pictures and had us fill out paperwork and said we would hear back in a week or so.

I am highly disappointed in the money I spent when I had 3 movers and more boxes to go into the truck they decided to stop, boxes were maybe at most 4-5ft high. They came in a 26ft truck. One of the guys seemed to not want to work and kept asking me how much I was willing to spend, roommates said the ex roommate used the same company and it was excellent, however, they told me I had a total opposite experience they watched both moves.
