Super frustrated with this company. First, they were scheduled to arrive 2-5 pm, but didn't arrive until 7:30 pm. Then, they had their manager call to tell us we had 200 cubic feet more than the original quote (no way!) and our whole quote went up more than $2500!!! We spoke to a manager who said he would wait for my husband and I to make a decision, but a few minutes later became unreachable, sending only a text to confirm the new price.

Please do not book with this company. Very unprofessional behavior. The first phone conversation to get a quote and ask information since this was my first time booking with movers resulted in them hanging up on me without warning while thanking them for their time. No "goodbye", no "let us know if you have any additional questions"... Nothing. They were much more friendly and accommodating after booking.

I do not recommend this place. I was told the movers were experienced and knew what they were doing. But when the pod they packed arrived, one of our heavy desk legs was hanging from a strap by the door since it fell from the top of the pile of stuff that was packed. They stacked all four weighted desk legs on top of the two gaming computers. I haven’t had time yet to unpack the computers to see if they work. They also stacked our 75” TV on top of the 65” TV.

I’m giving 1 star because the movers I had were very sweet. However, management was not. I will never be using Royal Moving ever again. There was a huge disconnect with the communication I had throughout my entire experience that made everything twice as stressful as it should have been. I had to call back and ask questions continually as none of the information I was receiving over the phone aligned with their current contract terms.
12/22/2025 MIKE & VITALI moved my mom from assisted living to independent living in a retirement community. They were rough with everything they moved, and extremely sloppy. Vitali proceeded to move a dresser without tight wrapping it to keep the drawers from flying open, and unfortunately they flew open exposing where jewelry was stored. A diamond tennis bracelet went missing and a Coach purse. Randomly, so did a pretty silver & white gift box full of computer paper.

The Royal moving company did a great job of moving our stuff from California to Portland. They tool full responsibility of all elements including packing, assembling, disassembling, disposing of garbage etc. The wrapping and moving was very professionally handled. The move was also very reasonably priced! I was a little disappointed in the delay in the delivery element, and having to consistently push on my end, but they were responsive, made sure to accommodate by schedule and everything except this hiccup was…

They even disassembled and reassembled our furniture—an absolute game changer that made the move so much easier. Nick and Johnny were kind and conscientious. They were so careful with all of my belongings, especially my furniture. They were careful to wrap it to protect it and packing up their truck with gentle expertise. They asked questions while they worked to confirm what I needed and were very thorough. I would trust them with fine furniture and dishes. They put together the pieces I asked them to and they carefully brought my belongings into my new home. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Royal was recommended to us by a friend who just raved about the job they did. Alex and crew did an epic move for us across town combining our (outgrown) home and a rental property into our new home. They coordinated moving existing furniture into new spaces expertly and with great care. They worked so hard all day and were lovely to our kids too! We’re hoping to never have to move again but if we do we’re going with Royal Moving and requesting Alex and team!!
