I picked College Hunks because of google reviews and local reputation but I'm very disappointed. I've received lots of high end furniture in wood pallet from international shipment and I needed to have College Hunks haul away the junk for me. The pallet are all emptied out by me and stored neatly in my garage. One of the mover would push/slide the pallet against my new Epoxy floor versus lifting them, they are by no means heavy at all, i can easily lift up myself.

I want to start by saying that Ari and Charlie were the best movers I have ever hired. They were knowledgeable, meticulous, thoughtful, courteous, hardworking, and incredibly resourceful. Their professionalism is the only reason this review is not one star. Unfortunately, my experience with College Hunks Moving as a company was extremely disappointing and stressful. I have used other moving companies in the past, particularly All My Sons Moving, and have always found the process straightforward and transparent.
We just wanted to take this opportunity to apologize for your experience and we’re so sorry it could’ve been better. We hope you’ll give us another chance to provide you with the excellent service we’re known for should you need our services in the future.
I booked them to remove mainly dirt and sod, with some other yard debris mixed in. It said on the web site that they remove it. I realize it was a lot of dirt, that’s why I booked them. When they arrived the original estimate was around $800. They “worked” for about 30 minutes and said they had to get to another job, that our job was thought to be smaller than it actually was and they didn’t allot enough time for ours. When they came back at almost 5pm they were barely shoveling.

Hiring this company was the worst decision I have ever made. I was fooled by the ratings… don’t be fooled. This company will send out a bunch of inexperienced kids that will break almost everything you own and take triple the time (on your dime) that they estimated. When you go to seek compensation, they will offer you pennies per pound. It’s such a joke that I just gave up. If I had enough time in my life I would hire an attorney and sue this company.

Well, I was storing some property for a friend of mine while they were apartment hunting. She told me a mover was hired to pick up her stuff. I was told between 2-4 pm. At 1:59 I got a call saying they will be here in 10 minutes. And they were. I met Captin Jack and Mark. Solid and thorough. Packed her belongings with care and now are en route to deliver it to my friend. As an observer. I was pleased. If you are looking for a great moving company.
