All Service Moving

This has been such an awful experience with all service moving. Communication between the office and movers was poor and they sent them with the wrong size truck. The lead mover spent at least 30 minutes on the phone trying to rectify it and they ended up not being able to switch the truck but sent another mover. Which we had to pay extra for. We had to take 2 trips instead of one and it ended up costing us double what we were quoted. We had an 800 sq ft home and were quoted $600 but ended up paying over $1200.

I would give zero stars if I could. I booked a full service pack and load move with 4 movers. I confirmed the day before the move and the morning of the move that I needed packing materials. The movers showed up without packing materials, so one person had to return to the warehouse to get them, wasting an hour and half. The packing was highly unprofessional.

I hate posting negative reviews of businesses, I know what an impact they can have, but I had to given what a horrible and frankly predatory experience I had with this company. Tldr: What should have been $545 was a $2000 bill. We hired this company to move a fridge for us, because it was 600 pounds. If it was a normal fridge I would have just done it myself, but at that weight, and the number of stairs, I figured hiring someone was the way to go.

HIRING THIS COMPANY. Has been the worst decision I’ve ever made in my life. They have my items and collected full payment and my personal items are being held “hostage” .. it’s going to almost be a month that I was supposed to get my items delivered and I call everyday to get an answer on when will I be receiving my items.. email them and get ignored or get told they don’t know. And now I’m seeking legal action AS MANY OF YOU I trusted this company because of there “good” reviews..

I’m sure others had better experiences than me using All Service Moving. Not only did my movers not show up within the 4-hour arrival window, there was not a single piece of communication made, no calls, no texts, no email, nothing to let me know that they can’t make it. The only communication I got was when I had to call them after waiting 4 hours and even so, they still were not even remotely helpful and couldn’t even put a crew together.

There were several issues with my move. 1. The load crew was very slow, which resulted in the charge being 3x the estimate. The total cost was almost $5k to move my 3 bed 1,450 sq. ft. house. 2. My credit card was incorrectly charged for 2 months of storage fees AFTER my belongings were delivered ($750). 3. A step ladder and ironing board was missing from the delivery. I submitted a claim on 12/05/21 and received a reply from Jonathan who said he would look for the missing items.

I setup a move help for 1/15 on 12/14. On 12/28 I let them know I needed to cancel the service. Only then, did they tell me there is a 24 hour cancellation window, and I would not get any money back. I asked where this is put in writing, but they didn't respond via email. When I called in to ask where this is written out on 12/28, the man who identified himself as Xavier told me, "Why are you using double negatives when asking for help?"
