0 Stars – Avoid All My Sons Moving & Storage (Columbus, Ohio) This company operates like a complete scam. They prey on senior citizens and people on disability with a bait-and-switch pricing system that should honestly be investigated. We were originally quoted around $750. Then during the “confirmation” call, the price suddenly jumped to $1,800. By the end of the move, they demanded over $2,500 for only moving HALF of our house. Their crew loaded the truck completely wrong.

We had no issues with the crew but we had major issues with how the company handles problems. After reading some of these reviews it definitely looks like there is a pattern of ghosting customers when they are entitled to refunds due to damages or negligence. We hired All My Sons to help us move a month ago and during the move, someone slipped and a dresser came down the stairs, leaving a huge hole in the wall. Thankfully no one was hurt and we were told a report was made and it would be handled asap.

I don’t know why nobody sued them or legally removed them as a business. They are horrible and charges too high for incomplete service. My old and new apartment are both 7 minutes apart. They brought a smaller truck definitely not 26FT on the day of the move. They left plenty of items behind and wanted to charge me for a second crew and second truck. They lost my screws and didn’t assemble my bed or table in the end. Their low ball offers didn’t help at all in the end.

BEWARE!!!!!! All My Sons Moving Company completely failed us. We booked a 12–2 PM move window, paid the $100 deposit, and received confirmation. But on moving day, they never called, never showed up, and never communicated. I had to initiate every status check-in. They went from vague updates to no contact whatsoever. By 6 PM, my husband and I, both in our 60s, were forced to load our son’s furniture and boxes into a truck ourselves because it was his last day in Ohio.

Beware -These guys are completely dishonest. I needed help moving my daughter from one dorm to another dorm in the Columbus Ohio area. They Quoted $135 per hour plus 15 min incremental above the hour. They never mentioned a two hour minimum. I asked for pricing on two separate calls. They showed up on time . Had me sign a bunch of documents onsite that were barely legible on an iPad. Then , before they unloaded they ask for payment . $135 turned into $330 for 1hour and 10 minutes of work.

Mario and Donavan were excellent movers, they did a very good job with loading and unloading my items. However I’m very unhappy with the company I was truly misled on the prices for the items needed to wrap and secure my things, what you sent me did not state I would be paying $50 per mirror and $75 for wardrobe which was only a box. Bubble wrap per item was not conveyed nor shrink wrap per item. I was quoted 127.00 per hour and sent the material list after I paid $100, deposit.

Terrible experience with company, movers themselves (Shane) were great (5 stars). When you call the call center, they give you very little information about what to expect with your move. They said it would take roughly 4-5 hours at a specific hourly rate. Once you put down the deposit, you get an email with all of the hidden charges. They charge for travel time to and from your move. Expect at least 1-2 hours added to your total. They also charge a fuel surcharge (state dependent) on your total.

I had to write and file a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable moving services we received from All My Sons Moving & Storage during our recent military relocation from Columbus, OH to Virginia. While the unloading crew in Virginia acted professionally and respectfully, the same cannot be said for the movers in Columbus. Their careless and dismissive behavior resulted in extensive and costly damage to nearly every piece of our household furniture.
