UPDATE: I used Bellhop again for a move in Feb 2024 and the experience was terrible this time. Three different movers were assigned. The head mover arrived late. During the move, there was a general lack of care I could see in them handling my furniture that caused a wheel caster to break off of a cabinet, my bed frame sustained long deep scratches, my lamp shade permanently stained with soot, and damage in the frame (bar) of my other floor lamp.

Terrible all around. The movers were late and the truck driver was over 40 min late. They tried to overcharge for an extra hour of labor and when I asked they said "The movers phone died so he couldn't check out properly" Once they arrived they took their time to move and had no equipment or supplies to move correctly. Dropped our dresser off the truck and we had to throw it out. The policy for damages is by weight which is dumb because who knows how much it weighed.
I booked with this company in advance. 35 minutes before they were supposed to show up someone from the office called and cancelled on me with no explanation, just saying they didn’t have a truck/helpers to send. They only offered one alternative time the next day, which would not work for me with my work schedule.. while only offering a very small discount. I unfortunately had a very unprofessional and not trustworthy experience with this company.
The movers themselves were fantastic. The issue is when my new Samsung TV was broken beyond repair during the move they told me I was on my own. Find a company that insures your property so you don't save money on the move only to then lose all of your savings and more replacing items that were destroyed.
Too bad i cant leave negative stars. 1 is being kind. They are charging us thousands more than we agreed to and only 2 of 5 movers showed u. They are chaging is for labor that didnt show up. They wont call us back and are ignoring our emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

Professional, time efficient and great at communicating any delays of appointment times scheduled. Alot of heavy furniture moved down multiple stair levels without any breaking.
Dave and the team did a great job! Showed up right on time, worked super fast, took really great care of our furniture and all while being really personable. Definitely would use them again!!
Movers were friendly and careful moving stuff around and helped placing into the right positions in the new place
Movers were very hard workers and it took twice as long as estimated, but there were a lot of large furnishings and had them move several large appliances including washer and dryer. Was disappointed that the washer and dryer weren’t hooked up at new home unbeknownst to me and when I tried to run washer, water leaked everywhere in the upstairs laundry room. Fortunately was able to get water shut off in time to avoid major damage. Overall good experience though and would recommend!
