All My Sons Moving & Storage

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve moved 14 times and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a moving company. I paid nearly $10,000, including $800 for insurance, and they managed to completely destroy my $5,000 red light therapy system — the one thing I asked them to be careful with. Their response? $100. That’s what they think is fair compensation for thousands of dollars in damage.

NEVER use this company!!!!!!! I wish there is a way to give zero stars for a review. After showing up 30 minutes late (and charging us for the time when they weren't there), we were charged double the price of the original quote. The unprofessionalism of the movers started once they did arrive and informed us their boss was angry we didn't need to buy tape or boxes. I guess they needed to compensate themselves by stealing valuable handbags and sunglasses.

DO NOT USE On Saturday November 9, 2024 I hired All My Sons Moving and Storage (AMS) to move my furniture from a storage unit to my new apartment which are 5 minutes from each other. AMS did not disclose certain expenses to me over the phone when I originally called for a quote / estimate including the $168.25 for a “fuel charge” and $28.40 for “materials” They gave me one low quote initially and then I ended up facing a bill that was almost 3x the amount originally discussed.

I have NOTHING good to say about this company. They misled me on packing materials (not included) and said it would take 2 - 3 hours MAX to load our Upack trailer. Its me (19) and my mom, so we couldn't do it all ourselves. They charged us from 9-1:30, yet arrived at 9:07, took 10 mins just to get the ramp up w/my help, and finished at 1:15. They took 30mins just for a full-sized headboard and 2 hours on a futon base.

Not sure where the specific team was based from. The team that did my move was just very unprofessional. I was asked several times what was being taken, and I had to keep reminding them about every little thing. Like they were bypassing things and I had to keep reminding them that everything was going. A couple of the guys argued throughout the whole thing. They left their toolbox at the second pickup location, so then I had to go back and get it.

UPDATE: Andy Conant from corporate called me to discuss these issues. He was super nice and helpful, and was able to help me get $200 back. It was nice to know that someone at the company actually cared and wanted to help meditate the issue, however, I still wouldn’t use this company again. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews on the website, this is literally the worst company ever.

Aug 2024 not sure why I hired these guys. They arrived at 8am, and took an hour to fill out paperwork which they charged me for about $200 or more, they asked for coffee and snacks , they looked like a rag tag team, it was even the first day for one of them. The team leader sat in truck most of the day not sure why, so basically it was 2 kids who only one could actually lift heavy objects. I informed All My sons moving how much furniture we had, what we needed taken apart a bunk bed and a day bed.

Unfortunately, I have to write a review because of the abhorrent service I received and I hope to serve as a cautionary tale for anyone looking at hiring All My Sons for their next move. I booked with All My Sons in early June of 2024 for a September move with a rate of $199.00/Hr. I chose All My Sons after seeing their less than flattering rating at a national level but more positive reviews out of the Boston office. What a mistake this turned out to be.
