I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Jump Street Movers. I had a confirmed appointment, but they canceled last minute — literally at 8am, the exact time they were supposed to show up. This left me scrambling with no backup plan on moving day. When I reached out to them, the person I spoke to was very rude, yelling over the phone instead of offering a solution. Even worse, they threatened not to return my deposit if I left a negative review, which is both unprofessional and unethical.

Forced to pay before unload. When 2 pieces were missing their response was “you got insurance” wouldn’t recommend them to move a litter box. Very dismissive and since they are paid they do not have any incentive to even try to locate the property they signed to accept and claim they loaded onto their truck and then mysteriously disappeared!! #internationavanlines contracted this company to finish they job.

While the actual movers did a quick and efficient job, the manager and cost was not ideal. They completed the job in 3.25 hrs, but I was charged 4.75 hrs. At $145/hr, thats an additional $217 they charged me. The manager kept saying that travel time is the additional charge, but that was not stated in the estimate, as it clearly states Moving Labor and Fuel as the estimated charges. The travel is part of the Moving Labor. They essentially charged me double just for the driving, plus the cost of gas.
This review isn’t about a minor scheduling mix-up. It’s about how this situation was handled from start to finish. When I first spoke with Jose Posadas, I was clear that I was not ready to confirm the moving date. I said that directly. Instead of advising me to wait until I was certain, I was encouraged to book immediately to “hold the spot,” with the understanding that changes would not be an issue. That understanding turned out not to be accurate.

When I asked about my deposit, the response I got was not only rude but borderline threatening. Instead of explaining politely, the person on the phone told me I’d “regret it” if I left a review. Completely unacceptable behavior.

Jump Street Movers delivered a true five star experience. The team was strong, efficient, and very respectful of our home and all our belongings from start to finish. Junior’s crew was incredible. They moved us out of two houses and into a new one all in a single day, which still feels amazing. Even with such a big job, they stayed organized and careful the entire time. We booked our interstate move through colonial van lines and jump street movers took care of our move. They were fantastic. Showed up with 5 guys, wrapped everything perfectly. All our stuff made it with no damages. They arrived at the beginning of our drop off window too which was a bonus. Highly recommend.
