Redefyne Moving & Storage

Avoid Redefyne moving if you have a big job and a deadline. Wow. Where to begin?! This company made many judgement errors and did very little to make up for it on their end. We ended up being charged several hundred dollars more than we expected because of it. I could go on, but I will summarize our experience with a list: 1. Friendly, but unprofessional movers-complained about work load, ownership and fellow employees 2. Arrived with two men instead of three (should have been four-we have a lot of stuff) 3.

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone at this time. I scheduled two separate moves with this company within a week. I had asked for 3 movers and a truck, as both were very full 3 bedroom homes. I was assured 2 movers would suffice. (even though their website stated 3 movers and a truck for that size home is normal) Concerned over timing, etc., I called back two more times prior to the first move, requesting a 3rd mover. On the final call, I was advised a third mover would be scheduled.

If you are not concerned about the moving costs, and don't mind paying twice the more of your moving estimate, the company is good. The staff was very helpful on the phone, and did a great a job for being flexible with the moving dates. I really appreciated it. I am giving 1 star due to misquote. I was told my 1-bedroom move 4 blocks distance would take 2-4 hours, and I was sent a quote of less than $500 for just moving.

This is a disorganized and uncommunicative company. I was supposed to move today at 9:30 as per my estimate. I got no phone call this morning and tried calling Dylan the operations manager several times with no response. I called the main office phone number to try to reach a live person who could tell me what was happening with my move, but the sales person I spoke to said the moved got pushed to the afternoon and he didn’t know why. He said he would call me back with details but never did.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE. TERRIBLE customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They completely destroyed our Big Green Egg grill (ceramic and very heavy) because they dropped it. This is after we spoke with the company prior to the move at length about our concerns. The owner said they put specific instructions of how to move this item for the on-site moving team, which they didn't follow. We spoke to the day-of moving team also at length about our concerns, even offered to move it ourselves.

This is the second time we moved with Redefyne. The first time, they filled the truck and ran out of space. We had to leave some items behind and give them away to goodwill. Not a huge deal, it happens when you estimate load vs truck size. However, the second time, knowing we left the first time, we requested the same size or larger than before. This is less than a year later mind you (sold house, rented in a new city until we found a new house to purchase).

Redefyne canceled on us the day before our scheduled move. I could write paragraphs about how monumentally inconvenient and stressful this cancelation was for us but I'll keep it short. On June 21st I booked our July 11 move with Redefyne and paid $252.45 for three parking permits (including a processing fee). On the morning of Saturday July 10 we received a "Your move has been confirmed!" email only to receive a call later that afternoon from Redefyne informing us they would not be able to move us the next day as…

Overall I would rate Redefyne Moving an overall average of two stars. We moved from Oregon to No. Idaho after being in the same house for 18 years. We rented an 8ft Uhaul trailer to take items they could not move such as plants and household cleaners. Communication/Customer Service- Overall rating of one and a half stars. There was lack of communicatoin from the foreman, customer service office, operations manager and owner named Aaron. He does estimates and conducted the estimate remotely.
