First time buying a piano, the process was much simpler and stress free than we had anticipated thanks to the great service we received. We received the piano incredibly soon after purchasing it, and have no complaints about the delivery. Although we were initially worried about it, due to moving the piano up a large flight of stairs, the guys who delivered it were very careful and hard working, and got it done super efficiently.

I discovered Classic Pianos about eight years ago when I was searching for a better instrument. I went to all of the other dealers in the Portland area and either didn't find the service or the piano that I was looking for. There wasn't enough inventory to choose from and I didn't care for the high-pressure sales tactics. Classic Pianos treated me respectfully as a serious musician and a serious buyer. The sales team soon recognized that Taylor Unis would be the best fit for me. And he was.

I had a great time working with Fred Riley at Classic Pianos in Portland. I contacted Fred about my interest in a grand piano and discussed a budget. I came in with a friend of mine to look at their piano inventory which is massive. To top it off, Fred is very knowledgeable about pianos and he was not pushing me to buy any particular one. I had a sound and touch in mind and he showed me about 15 or more pianos in my budget and we discussed them all. I spent over three hours in the store and it was well worth it.

8 April 2023 When it was time to get our piano tuned, Fred delighted us again. He was able to squeeze us in for an appointment within just a few days, arrived on time, kindly answered questions, and had us all smiling with his piano-playing antics. Even though the piano was originally for me, our 9-year-old son was even more curious about it after seeing Fred both tune it and play a couple of tunes on it. What a gift. Again, thank you, Fred!
